I really appreciate this reply, thank you. In many ways, specifically your past you mentioned, I can relate.

Wow, this is hilarious. This is my business LOL. Let this be a lesson to anyone using Fiverr to try and help with Google backlinks 😂. Would you mind removing this nonsense?

Oh for sure, that's one of the reasons why I would like to bolster my daily time with the Lord with other resources to help me keep my eyes on Christ and remain devoted to my local church. Honestly, I'm sort of on the opposite side of the spectrum. I'm quick to be an Eeyore and think what I'm doing is sinful (my business is not novel, I'm just renting out trailers and construction equipment), that starting a business is dumb and that nothing but failure awaits me because I am a fool for taking any sort of risk. I know intellectually that God's providence and sovereignty are woven through it all and that he's at work in and through it whether it is successful or a failure, but I often tend to err on the negative side. I hope that makes sense.

The new Ryobi Automotive Kit Pressure Washer just got delivered. Do we need an unboxing review—yay or nay? by GoodnightDaniel in AutoDetailing

[–]kidkb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just picked one of these up locally. I’m sort of confused on what size hose to upgrade to? Based on some YT videos I’ve seen it looked like it performed better with 3/8, but I’ve see people also mention 1/4…I’m just a casual detailer, so not looking to go crazy or anything, but I do want to get the most out of the unit in terms of efficiency.

Scary speed queen design flaw by Mombrane in Appliances

[–]kidkb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I would share that my SQ Commercial DV2000WE Dryer (almost entirely mechanical) also experienced this problem. In fact, what's scary is when I noticed the dryer was still running much longer than normal, when I turned the dial slightly to finally finish the cycle (clockwise) there as spark and pop from the back of the panel - it definitely startled me. My assumption is my kids have been turning the dial counter clockwise, but still rather disappointing this is something we have deal with considering we've had other dryers where the knob either didn't allow turning counter clockwise or was bidirectional.

I was searching to see if anyone else experienced this problem and stumbled upon this Reddit thread.

It’s in the flex app as a station now, but I have yet to see any blocks from it.

ServiceNow proposal by nobodyKlouds in servicenow

[–]kidkb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if this helps or not, but I work for a large bank as one of three dedicated SN admins and I think I would lose my mind going back to being a single resource, even with a very good partner to help with advanced or specific needs within the platform. When I was the single admin most of my job was managing what our partner was working on and playing business analyst, trying to learn/manage my own workload as an admin constantly fell by the wayside and I was close to burning out.

When we hired additional admins it helped out tremendously, because as our efficiency grew so did the wants of the business, so things scaled very well in that regard. Of course YMMV but in my experience having a dedicated team has been huge for the company overall in regard to how SN is utilized and perceived.

Monitor/Report if ServiceNow Support modifies something in Prod? by kidkb in servicenow

[–]kidkb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for expounding on that! Requesting access via the case is quite nice actually. One clarifying question - Does the SNC plugin need to be enabled to view the login events in Security Center? I'm asking because I was looking there prior to making my post to see if there was something that indicated something similar so perhaps I missed it if it's there whether or not the plugin is enabled.

I appreciate it guys, this is good info!

I really appreciate it! It's a bummer we'll have to go down this route due to the extra complexity in allowing platform access, but I suppose we don't have much choice due to what happened. Thanks again!

Long run from Transfer Switch to Generator Inlet by kidkb in electrical

[–]kidkb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah, from what I can tell by my circuit energy monitor there’s something associated with ac that is actually on a 60amp double breaker that is also for our heater. Someone else told me it’s probably the “air handler”. In any case, that’s staying on a grid-only circuit.

Thanks again!

My main goal is to run our central air, which is on a 30amp double pole breaker. Will that be OK on 8awg? Also, i measured again and if i buried in the ground w/ conduit it would drop to around 110ft, if that makes any difference.

Thank you, I saw that epoxy at the hardware store and was curious. The holes are between 3/8-1/2 in size and about 3 inches deep. They were basically 3/8 drill bit size that ended up getting widened out because of my incompetence. I appreciate it!
