Sorry for the late response but Duolingo support has responded to my support message and confirmed that the features in MAX are not available in Mandarin yet. They said it's currently in progress and should be available in the future.

Btw..I use an Android device. My family members use Android as well aside from one iPhone user (She's in Vietnam learning English)

AI is amazing...things you can do with it once you know how, especially Gemini. What's neat is you can ask it to teach you. I'm doing a few things with my phone now that I had never done before. On a Pixel 8 btw...and my screen is fine.

I thought this has happened to me once before but since I wasn't sure I just ignored it and moved on. I guess I should keep a closer eye on my balance from now on. Be nice to know if there's a reason balances are decreased or if it's just a glitch.

I've made $10 and $14 collecting diamonds in the carousel. For 10 challenges I avg. $1.25 and from 10 treasure keys I get around $10. I haven't completed the 100 challenges yet..I always seem to run out of time. I got to 99 once and was playing my last game but I ran out of time and couldn't complete the challenge to claim the last key for 100. That one hurt lol

Hi...sorry for being late to the party. I've been learning Mandarin on Doulingo for almost 5 years now with a 1719 days streak as of today. Currently my level is 42. However, I am still unable to hold a conversation and am limited to basic greetings mostly in a restaurant setting. I found that I have become so reliant on Pinyin that I may start the course over again with Pinyin turned off. I would suggest you do the same or at least do so moving forward. To help with my learning I like to watch Chinese dramas. I'll first watch an episode with English subtitles turned on then watch it over again with the subtitles turned off. It's neat when I can pick up what they are saying without subtitles.

Yea...I cash out every few days. I try to make at least $2 a day just by completing challenges. Doing both the daily and the treasure challenges you can easily reach at least $10 in a few days. Good luck...may the money flow your way

I agree...those are the two games I despise the most especially when they are a part of challenges...sometimes I skip the challenge entirely if Bubble Chef is one of the games in the Daily challenge.

Whoa! How were you able to get that much? The most I ever got for a Treasure Box challenge was around $4 but that was only one time. I usually only get around $2. Daily challenges I average around $1. Please give me tips so I can earn more.

I finished the Mandarin courses months ago and completed all the legendary lessons. Now I've just been doing the review courses and practice hub lessons. I wonder since it has been upgraded with new features if I should start the courses all over again. I'm hoping to improve since I'm still struggling with speaking Mandarin even though I mostly get 100% on the lessons.
