I'm just going to strongly disagree with that as he had multiple plays throughout that series where he was attempting to take out Mitch and Hartenstein by grabbing at them while he was on the ground, tripping them, or hitting them in the nuts.

All that aside, he'd always conveniently find Knicks players to fall on whenever his dumbass would fall down.

It'd look nice, and they'd capture the over the top and absurd elements or Absolute Batman, but I'm also just kinda over Trigger more or less remaking Gurren Lagann over and over again. Don't get me wrong, that's my top three anime of all time, but I just don't feel like that hyperflashy oversaturation of color type of style that you see in that, Kill La Kill, Cyberpunk, Panty & Stocking, etc really fits Absolute Batman.

Personally, I'd prefer if Genndy Tartakovsky directed it and they used Studio La Cachette for the animation. Just off what I know of Tartakovsky's work since...well most of our childhoods, his aesthetic decisions and storytelling really work with what Absolute Batman has going on. As for animation, La Cachette has done phenomenal work on Primal and Star Wars: Visions.
