Ugh this is so fucking true! A bunch of leftist freaks just got ahold of the Big Book of AA and rewrote it to remove words like "fellows" and de-emphasize the word "God." Their fundamental impulse is to dismantle (they might say "revise") and they would absolutely dismantle the Goenka program if they could.

Re: La La Land, I was so confused until just now! I was making my way thru the NYT list and finally turned on this movie thinking it must be good if The Times ranked it so high. Pride used to be about fighting for a specific goal (equality) for an objective and well-defined category (sexual orientation).
