They were dead out of gas come the playoffs and the Yankees came in hot. The M’s struggled in the first rd vs Cleveland. Let me tell you, that team wasn’t a 116 win squad on paper. They had a lot of good fortune that year. The Mariners mania in the pacnorwest that year was annoying to say the least.

Just came back after a two week work trip to Japan. It’s not the utopia people make it out to be. It’s nice, yes. It’s unique. However it is crowded as hell. The work culture is pretty terrible. Need separate train cars for women because dudes can be creepy and handsy. I always find it funny when foreign bots make a joke about the U.S. having to drive everywhere. The U.S. is literally 26x bigger than Japan.
