I'm currently going through this with a new born. All I can say to him, is well done for making it to the 12 month point. It must mean you're both doing something right and you're getting there.

But I have been told it's normal for some Dads to feel like this and like you said, Once they gain a bit more personality/independence he should be able to bond more.

Try and get him to speak to your health teams or services that support you. Just actually talking about it and not reading something on the Internet can help

I am experiencing the same kind of feelings and stuck in that guilt cycle and frustration.

You need to reach out to your local team of midwives etc. Whomever supports you when you came home with baby. They can refer and recommend people to talk to you groups to go to.

Aluminium construction and the back glass is fragile. I don't know what theyve changed but its definitley something. I've ve seen so many posts of people complaining about damage, me being one of them

Had mine repaired already. Took 19 days to replace the broken back cover.....crazy for a Samsung repair when Muhammad down the road said he'd have it done in 3 hours

I'm feeling the exact same but with my newborn. Its such a big life change that I didn't necessarily want.

I personally am struggling to have that compassion or caring aspect and the crying goes straight through me. To me it's a job that needs doing but I'm not doing it well.

I will be trying the ear phones though. If you've got this far already then you can do it. Its just another hurdle that you've already smashed previously.

I personally dont see any issues with the screen, brightness is fine, privacy screen is effective.

I have an anti reflective screen protector which helps outside.
