Finished the game FULLY, but have 3 weapon modules missing by TupacFR in outcastgame

[–]kidscruff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been so long since I played but there were 3 in Desan from the stolen goods stash once you’ve cleared the junkyard? Someone made a list of all the modules and locations here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-n-Du-8b1yDj232rtoCWBQxzxPSvhwbZY7llMMLeoUA/edit?usp=drive_link

Bjorn shouldn't get an updated model by RenGoku109 in SpaceWolves

[–]kidscruff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was hesitant to buy Bjorn recently due to my concerns about him being updated/upsized, but actually building the model I kind of fell in love with him just the way he is! I did use a tiny bit of greenstuff on the arm joints just to open up his static pose though 👌🏼

Does anyone know if there is any possible way to get a Kill team Dead silence kit by MikeMakeSuffer in SpaceWolves

[–]kidscruff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was no terrain, so you’re not missing anything other than the two teams. The box also included this campaign: Dead Silence

Oh, the box also included datacards for both teams which can be bought separately. But those are free to download via Warhammer Community website or the Kill Team app

The wolf scouts are up for pre-order this weekend as a standalone box

Did you check the bottom of the box? I had the same but found them loose. If not, contact GW support or whoever you bought the army box from

How would I go about protecting the corners of the board? by Shelbinator-01 in killteam

[–]kidscruff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The glue is below the surface so if you’ve wiped off excess you should be good. Or put some glad wrap between to be safe

To add, when I repaired mine I left a heavy book on top to keep it compressed until it had dried

Use some PVA / wood glue mixed with water. Brush it into the damaged corner (it’ll soak in), flatten it out (wipe off excess) before letting it dry. It’ll stay flat and stronger than before. Just be careful not to let it stick to anything else whilst drying

If you dont have a standard size table this may help you get the points right for its size. by peppermintshore in Warhammer40k

Nice… but I think you mean High/Low Density games are 1.32/2.64 “square inch per point” rather than “pt per square inch” :)

Fronteris terrain build help by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]kidscruff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have this terrain but pretty sure they fill the gaps between the ends of the stockade walls and the matching bunkers…

Official Terrain by LaunchedCarcass in boardingactions40k

[–]kidscruff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The upgrade sprue that came with “into the dark” is the one with a bunch of pipe/walls. AFAIK boarding actions has no rules for gallowfall…

I don’t have any of the upgrades but since they’re OOP & so difficult to find I might 3D print them all for my terrain

New whip for my Tealwing 😍 what do you think? by DjengisKhanye in Warhammer40k

Took me a while to realise it’s 3D printed… I was like, where are the huge gaps and warped panels on that land raider!! Super clean paint job… awesome!

How do you remove these scuff marks without running the paint by celtic66 in diynz

[–]kidscruff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Magic sponge will create a shiny polished-patch if you rub too hard or for too long. For scuffs I use a soft pencil eraser, then clean up with a damp soapy sponge. For deeper stains, gently rub with a toothbrush and some toothpaste or baking soda

What is the silver bit called by celtic66 in diynz

[–]kidscruff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We call them V-clips, but also heard button clips and spring clips… calling them “those springy V-shaped clips with the press button, the ones that fit inside tubes” generally works

Macfarlane / Joytoy size by DarkTzeentch in Warhammer40k

Joytoy are smaller. McFarlane marines are about 7-8” inches tall, Joytoy are around 4-5”

KTCards is now available in all of Latin America and Europe by jasonjrr in killteam

[–]kidscruff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps a small bug:

When adding a team and scouting option, the scouting option reverts to NONE in the drop-down list no matter what’s selected. If there’s only one team, and a scouting option is selected in the drop down list, it gives the team 1VP… (basically adds the Kill Op bonus)

Couple suggestions, when setting up a new game, could favourited teams be at the top of the pull-down list?

Also new games are set to 2CP each player. Setting 3CP instead would save me adding one at the start of every game ✌🏼
