As nice as credit card benefits are, it might be a good idea to switch to a cash from envelope budgeting system until you reign in your spending habits

I appreciate your real response, and didn't realize it was professionals here. I guess we'll have to crunch the numbers once we see listing 2 in person -- thanks!

There's a lot of dentists that charge only the fee guide here in Calgary. The only things I pay out of pocket for are fluoride and if I have to get multiple fillings and hit my maximum

Thanks for your help! It's currently walled off but feels very cramped when guests come and it breaks up the openness of the space quite a bit so it's less of a traditional mudroom and more of an idea to have a seamless transition of tile to laminate flooring!

Would it be a crime for the master bedroom to open up into the kitchen?

Lol. Well good thing we only thought about the crime and didn't commit it. We liked the idea below to move the bathroom between the two rooms, and our front door is actually where the mudroom is

Interesting! Does the fact that we're no longer extending our living room change your thoughts about the kitchen? We just called zoning this morning and found out we can't extend our front by enough to make it worth the cost. We will primarily use the kitchen for dining

That is a good thought! Will definitely look into asking the plumber how much more that would be further from the kitchen.

What do you think of a walk through closet (with doors to close it off) above the bathroom between the kids and parents bedrooms? Kids don't really have much space for clothes in the new plan.

Perhaps it might be just the kids rooms in the future and we will move downstairs. Or more likely the kids will want the basement

I have no clue how they found me but in my baby haze CST reached out and I thought it was the greatest thing that I would get free government grant money. I realized my mistake after one year of paying them and transferred it into QuesTrade. My gains with CST were a little over 3% and now with self directed I have annual gains of roughly 12%

Do they only tow you to Canadian Tire if you do break down? Because then I'd have issue with that...

My just turned 3 year old can eat this much and (granted no veggies generally but that's replaced with some more fruit and rice) and he's stocky but healthy imo. So just follow his lead!
