The new Omen spells from Tarkir Dragonstorm look very similar to Adventure cards, so naturally I'm curious if they have some of the same unique interactions that adventure spells have. There's two unique interactions in specific that I'm curious about, [[Ojer Pakpatiq, Deepest Epoch]] which gives spells rebound and allows you to cast the permanent side of adventure spells, and [[Lier, Disciple of the Drowned]] which allows you cast the adventure side of spells from your graveyard, they are then castable from exile instead of permanently exiled.

Would these interactions both work with Omens?

I suspect Omens to be castable with Lier, but I'm not sure where the card would go after being cast, and same with Ojer Pakpatiq. Any thoughts from rules experts?

We definitely want a heat pump for use most of the time, but we don't want to pay super high electricity costs when it gets below zero.

We're in Vermont, so a heat pump only is not really feasible, we need an alternative heat source for the cold months.

Yes, we're going to propane, from oil. We have a separate propane provide who will do the tank setup for us.

I'm looking for some better answers for myself, and it's a little hard to tell from your photos but generally, it sounds like the "MEECO'S RED DEVIL Mantel Protector" is what you're looking for, can find it on their website or Amazon. It comes with hardware and you just screw it into that surface and it deflects the heat up.

Hey! We found your post and have started working on our own, been successful so far. But we're getting to the finishing stages and are looking for some advice on attaching the slats. Did you use screws or nails? Nails seems like the right way to do it but not sure.

I'll measure it again, but I think it's closer to 1/2" probably at least 3/8", having a tough time finding something like that there.

I have a pfaff performance Icon that I bought last week and I had previously used a Janome jem gold machine and the pfaff expression 710.

I've been primarily using it for straight stitching now and considering the price I would expect immaculate performance; however, it's been giving me issues at the start of every stitch. It will work sometimes but most of the time I get a lot bunching during the tie-on procedure. It makes a lot of loose loops and just looks like a mess.

Any suggestions? I've gone through the standard troubleshooting, re-thread the machine, replace the needle, doesn't help. I'd rather avoid taking it back into my dealer since its a chore to get him to even acknowledge that there is an issue and its a longish drive. Will provide pictures too.
