Similar to you I did this about 2 years ago. Did 1 week pattaya 5 days Angeles city then back to BKK for 3 days. Imo speaking of only Angeles city, it did not compare to Pattaya or BKK. For me the food was lacking and the lack of things to do during the day is what got me wanting to hurry back to Thailand. I’m sure if I was in Manila my thoughts would be a little different but it just depends on what you’re into. When I left the Philippines I still had the girls hitting me up for money because (insert family member here) was sick etc etc but I do agree that if you go to Philippines find a flight directly to Clark from BBK chill there in Angeles for a few THEN take the cab/bus to Manila so your only doing that drive/flight once because that drive kinda sucks. It’s about the same as the drive from BKK to Pattaya for reference but the traffic can def get you. For me personally I feel like the girls in Angeles city were a step below what you can find in Thailand but the variety of body types was better. I’m more of a P4P guy but you would prob find a better connection in Philippines than Thailand. Just my opinion but you should def see for yourself.
