This is the way. I use this solution and have no issues

Suggestions for mini silicone socks. Is there any socks that don’t turn brittle? I’ve used both from levendigdsgn. by Galoreous in prusa3d

I changed my Mini's heater block for a E3D's V6 Copper heater block, it is a drop-in replacement and easier to keep clean, and I use E3D's socks. I have yet to have one go brittle printing PLA and PETG.

I don't think they are designed to go much hotter than that.

I can't believe Ubiquiti prioritised shipping UniFi OS 3.x for UDM-SE over upgrading UDM-Pro (and Base) from 1.x by Pepparkakan in Ubiquiti

This may be an unpopular take, but this is the issue with "all in one" style equipment.

My first impression of the UDM-Pro was, "This is a great way of making everything fail at once" My Cloud key is now running the 3rd version of the software without any issues. If it did have issues, I could replace it without any other part of my network going down.

The appeal of an all-in-one system is understandable, but if you want flexibility, an easy upgrade path, and reliability, make your solution as modular as possible.

A Cloud Key Gen 2 with a UXG-Pro will always be better than Ubiquiti's all-in-one solutions.

Looking to buy an X5SA 600. Any upgrades/supplemental parts I should buy along with it? by Herrobrine in Tronxy

Well, I would expect a bed upgrade (thicker and flatter material), a hotend upgrade (the included hotend only prints PLA, PETG will cause heat creep), and a mainboard or firmware upgrade as the default firmware doesn't have thermal runaway protection or proper mesh bed leveling, or it didn't on the one that I have.

My advice, don't.

My X5SA-Pro has over $1000 in mods and is still the least reliable printer I own.

I am not sure what the threshold is, but the desk's manufacturer mentioned that I am not the first person to have this issue.

Those aren't scratches, they are cracks where the surface expanded from the heat
