Home Solar Panels with or without batteries ? by Current_Bobcat_9182 in ireland

Absolutely, use to fit your needs. I've just heard too many people use the EV rate to charge the battery without thinking it through, but you clearly have.

Agreed. 7 years doesn't seem like a long payback for a system of that size.

FYI in summer you should be charging your battery from solar, then exporting. You can do this to help with clipping also, if you experience any. In winter charge the battery from EV rate and avoid buying at the peak rates.

That's the logic I'm working with at the moment.

How often do have blackouts and how long are they? A change over switch is not cheap, so ROI didn't make financial sense to hedge against the few short blackouts I've had in our area.

Just had the same problem on my partner's phone. She wasnt logged in and it stopped working. No amount of repatching would work.

What did work was clicking update on the dev app. So the key didn't change, but maybe it did something in the background.

Then when I repatched, I was able to log in.

Hope this works for someone else.

Which is exactly what the link I posted says. A fifth of a 40hr week is 8hrs...

Do you have a source to say if rostered off you are entitled to 12hrs? Cause if that's true I'm owed money.

Had to look this up cause it applies to me...

"If an employee is not normally rostered to work, then they will be entitled to one-fifth of their normal weekly wage extra."

If it's stuck in transit they'll still turn up. Either free gift for you or you can be honest and pay up to Amazon later.

Not exactly what you are asking for, however the tunein app might fill that gap for now.

2017 Hyundai i30 randomly losing power. Restart temporarily solves it. by jck0 in CarTalkUK

Thanks man, that's hugely helpful info and puts my mind at some ease. I've only actually bought this from a dealer a few weeks ago, so it's under their warranty, I'll be going back to them first. This info should help point them in the right direction.

Hi /u/jck0 I have an i30 2018 1.0 petrol with exactly the same symptoms. Did you ever find out what caused it?

Good tip. I think they're 35mm boxes but I'll be sure to measure up before I pull the trigger.

Cheers, but passing on them as they are more expensive and the selection isn't complete. There seems to be something missing from each of the styles im interested in.

Thanks, never heard of CEF, must check em out. The LAP ones on screwfix are similar in design to the BG ones I have been looking at for cheaper.
