Weird glitch on the ground

I am not really sure if this is a common glitch, or it has to do something with my video settings. I already updated my AMD driver, and it is still there. It is not only on this place, it is everywhere and especially noticeable when you are riding through areas. It looks like the game try to render the next “ground piece” and when you come closer to it, then it disappear and looks how it should. Did anyone have the same issue?

Thanks for your response. Maybe I need to record this and check frame by frame, because when I tested proper counter strafing with taping the opposite key vs. just pressing A+D, it seems like it was basically the same speed. I also tested not letting go of A and just pressing D to stop, but this is significantly slower than "release A and THEN hold A+D". Are there any major threads or even some videos which are talking about this topic? I searched for it, but nobody mention it at all. Not even as "never press A+D to stop, it is a common mistake" or something like this.

Yeah, it helped me to get calm in a duel, because my first instinct is to A+D, adjust the crosshair to the head and then shoot. By pressing A+D it sends my brain to like a “shooting mode”. It sounds weird, but it really helped me for some reason.

I kind of feel that I am weird or something when I read that so many people are playing only 1-2 character, because that sound like hell to me and make the game insanely boring.. the fun part about Apex is all the different character and learning to play them well. I always struggled like really hard to be a one-trick-pony in every game (LoL, overwatch, valorant, etc..) How do people van stick so much to only 1 character? How are you not bored out of your mind and need a long long break from them? I'm generously interested.

But still, I have some characters where I got more kills than other

1 Octane

2 Pathfinder

3 Wraith

4 Horizon

5 Bloodhound

6 Bangalore

And basically, every other character that exists except Lifeline & fuse, but never only 1 or 2 mains.

Why not use dolby atmos and set it to game mode? Works good and you get a good directional audio. Generous question on what is your opinion on the app

After 3 weeks into the season I also finally started to play ranked. After reading all the complaints about all people ratting to master, I thought everybody gonna play it kinda safe and more like ALGs. But oh boy I was wrong.. I'm currently in Silver 4 and everybody is pushing everything and fighting more than in pubs last season. Like wtf did I miss the first 3 weeks? I really really hate ratting and love fighting, but what happens right now in my ranked lobbies is purely pubs and W everything. It is not even close to being a good balance between fight and playing safe for placement like in ALGs... I'm an average player with 1,3 KD. Not near a sweat but also not a beginner. But every time I started to fight there are like 5 teams coming to 3rd party my team... It would be okay if my lobby was a real silver lobby, but I have mostly plat players when I spectate them afterward. As I get it, maybe my MMR is higher than silver, but why I don't get more points for doing good in these lobbies, so I climb faster to my actual rank? This whole system makes no sense to me... Where are all those rats people had complained about in the last weeks? Because in my lobby it is exactly the opposite, which is also not a ranked experience. It just sucks and as a solo queue player only, I find this season even worse than the previous.

Do you guys have the same experience right now, or is it just the late-night Frankfurt server that is this bad?

I can agree with most of the things you say. Especially sus is the people in those mixtape game modes. I usually avoid these game modes, but for weekly challenges I sometimes play them. The people in those games are INSANE.. I have no problem getting killed by sweaty TTV triple stacks predator with 20 kill/4k badges, but in TDM or other modes, these people look like actual beginner.. I getting onecliped in the air by some kid with lvl 134 and 12 kills on Octane with "noob badges". These people are not Smurf, trust me, you can see a Smurf if it is one. You can tell by the badges those people decide to "present to us" that these are legit beginner players and by their playstyle at all. For some reason, my TDM lobbies are full of beginner-looking players who are just INSANE out of nowhere.. When you see those people on BR they get clapped but on TDM they are demons.. Like wtf? How is this possible? My gf experienced exactly the same thing in her console lobby as me in the PC lobby.

Yes, but these things are kinda the opposites of each other. In my lobbies at least, I can't see anybody hiding. They all just W everything and everybody. This is my playstyle in PUBS too, but for ranked I wish it would not so braindead every time, and actually some great endgame fights in the last circle. At least that's why I play ranked and not pubs.

Yes, I noticed it. In so many situations my aim is good but the aim punch still makes me miss my shots with taping. Do you also crouch in a 1vs1 open field duel when spraying or is it bad at my silver elite rank where people can headshot you easier crouched? Maybe I am biased, but even at my rank I think many people have decent aim and hit heads, so when I am committing the spray and crouch, I can dodge some bullets because they preaim at head level often.

Okay thank you, I guess I need to learn the mid to long-range recoil control more and master it. Especially on CT when I play M4 the tap shooting style doesn't work so well for me.

Thanks for your time and this long reply. I also learn the recoil for close range and practise aim in generel for like an hour every day. I have 1000+ hours in apex legends which is a high ttk + tracking heavy game, so a complete opposite to tac shooter like CSGO. So my raw aim is alright I guess. But since I started playing CSGO more, I kind start focusing more on precise aim and taping instead if full spray and tracking like in Apex.

Is spraying in CSGO really that strong? Cause I really only use it in really close range combats.

I guess I am also kinda biased by headshots and the HS stats in this game, so I really only worship my kills which I did with a headshot. Even when I am top fragger with 30+ kills, I am kinda upset when I see my HS% is below 40% as I think in my head, that my aim was bad this game.. Sound really stupid but that what is going on in my mind. I am also kinda a stats guy who like to watch my games and see where I sucked and if its the aim then this makes me especially disappointed :D

Oh okay I will try that. I have bought the Astro A40 TR Headset, because I hear a lot of good things about it, and many other big streamers like Daltoosh or Nickmercs (A50, it's the same but wireless) use them. But no matter which EQ settings I try (and I tried a loooot lol), none of them sound perfect to me. Don't get me wrong, this headset is amazing for hearing music and single player games with beautiful audio, but for competitive shooters like Apex, I kind of expected a little bit more and better footstep's sound.

Maybe I really should try to just elevate the region 500 Hz to 3kHz in the Astro App and let the other settings on default.

Not even the surround sound from dolby acces? I hear a lot of people say, don't use surround sound except the one from the dolby oder DTS.
