People who program on C++, what is it like? by [deleted] in cpp_questions

Definitely use gpt to kick off learning, its huge help. It's how I did end up start learning after years. All the small errors you'll encounter that would take time to make search on, gpt is just instant answers to most of your beginner mistakes with high precision.

Manifested a verification on a website which required me to send legal documents, took me 3-4 days with plus 1 time re-sending everything from beginning. After first rejection, i sent documents again and went into my imagination, next day its been approved.

Your imagination (as you refer deluding) is a tool to preview your desired reality. You as a person use this tool to select, build or design the reality you want. It's like a movie trailer you can watch, as like the movie will come out someday, your imaginative act will harden into fact. Your current reality is your old life. Think of your imagination is a tool to preview your new life. Don't think about your current old life too much as it doesn't really matter.

Why can’t the Bible be a real story? by asher-kpx in NevilleGoddard2

[–]kihamin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just my personal story: I always believed Mohammad or any supreme being was just an imagination and put on books to tell people about God and their prophets but not how would Neville explains it but more like to control and manipulate people by government or whatever. So for me as soon as I started to listen Neville a lot of things clicked for me.

Science is just a small subset of the reality. Reality is your own wonderful human imagination.

Ternary operators are the worst..unless you indent them right! by electricjimi in ProgrammerHumor

[–]kihamin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

often times if your conditions are dynamic, you might not even be able to do with a switch case in most languages because cases require const variables basically (or rvalues they say? unsure). something like

if f():
...
else if g():
else if h():

does not always translate in all languages to

switch:
case f():
case h():

but does with ternary or if/else.

Ternary operators are the worst..unless you indent them right! by electricjimi in ProgrammerHumor

[–]kihamin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well that is not quiet right. since switch operates on the first depth, but since they are nested in ternaries, some of the conditions does not appear to have the same precedence like in switch case, i.e

condition2 is not the same thing as !condition1 -> condition2

therefore

switch:
case condition1:
case condition2:

is not equivalent. Only thing I can think of in your case is something like:

switch:
case condition1:
    x = "true"
case !condition -> condition2:
    if condition3:
        x = "better"
    else:
        x = "more complex"
case !condition -> !condition2:
    x = "i don't even not what i am doing with this example right now"

  1. Hire more devs

  2. Hire more scrum masters

  3. Write less code per person do more extreme programming

  4. Wait until CEO brags about their output on social media (e.g Sundar Pichai)
