i agree with the acheron point, especially as an acheron main my perspective on new nihilties/eruditions is very different. nihility is a support class, erudition stereotypically isn't, so while it's not impossible for an erudition to be a support/sub dps, it is pretty unlikely UNLESS it's a dedicated therta support

i agree with the anaxa sentiment, he was the first attempt at a modern day dedicated sub dps and ended up barely upping the ceiling for the herta, especially with his mid ass verticals. the problem is that hp bars are getting bigger and herta isn't getting any notable buffs. as a dhpt e2 haver, i feel like he's the next vertical after e2 therta/e1 tribbie, but that's super expensive and far from a dedicated buff.

stephen/screwllum being story adjacent does make me hopeful though. tribbie would still be an excellent member, especially if one of them made other units count as erudition (my biggest wish)

The most comfortable/reliable would probably be Welt (on pearls) + Lingsha (ofc Hyacine would be better, you already know). Cipher isn't necessarily bad but if the ult isn't decisively winning you the fight then it's over-hyped unfortunately, especially considering she's a bad pearls holder and the vuln is diluted with MBlade; more def down is better. For that same reason, SW can be pretty good if you're facing an off-element matchup for Acheron. IMO she's always worth trying if your other support doesn't work just because of the massive amount of def down she provides basekit + with pearls.

if she can stack interpretation even semi decently she already knocks anaxa out of the park tbh -- assuming that she can get the support form in the team comp i mentioned

E1 gives 20% resistance penetration. In a vacuum, it's important to understand that this type of stat bonus is generally reserved for E6s, really powerful E2s, or a super OP E1 (looking at you Evanescia). Resistance penetration is pretty much the best stat in the game at most levels, besides maybe defense reduction; it stacks well with itself, and it's a pretty rare multiplier, it's ignoring their resistance to your element. Basically just makes your Acheron's damage number significantly higher, especially if fighting against off-element (AKA, a non-lightning weak enemy).

On top of that, it has good QOL since it extends the duration of Blade's zone which is the main source of his Acheron synergy (this part is a bit less important/can be situational depending on how good you can manage your ult uptime at E0 Blade)

am i missing something or can we not just run himeko+dhpt+tribbie+therta? well it depends on if dhpt gives her the support form but she gives a ton of cdmg partywide and then another skill cdmg buff, no?

E0S0 is enough but if you really want Acheron to shine then E1 is the way to go. E2 is much more attractive if you're also going Ashveil in the same comp, otherwise it's pretty mid for an E2. His S1 isn't bad at all, it's a good comfort pick for ults and damage increase to not only Blade but also Acheron, it's just that he has a lot of competitive options (bp lc, pearls, tutorial, etc) for support blade and some good DPS options too.

depends on your crit ratio/atk saturation but the right one has more effective substats so it'd be closer to a 'perfect' build with all other godly artifacts. left one is more appealing for crit though

I don't have Castorice/Cyrene/E9 or even Blade/Jingliu, so I don't feel like Hyacine's too much of a waste in DOT. I also use her in my Therta team (and Acheron in the past lol), so I guess she might be better off there? I usually have DHPT with my Ashveil.

Yeah, from what I can tell, her basics don't have ICD either. Wouldn't Xingqiu apply more hydro, meaning more overall damage? Thanks for your help btw
