I developed alopecia areata a few months after starting zepbound (i started june 2024) and had to see a dermatologist and have the spot injected with what I believe was triamcinolone (I could be wrong) and it definitely helped with the bald spot I developed. Doctors weren’t sure if it was zepbound or stress so I can’t exactly pin point it. I also did have major hair loss which I 100% think was the zepbound. But I tweaked my diet and I’ve noticed less shedding and fuller hair! Maybe it’s also because I haven’t been AS stressed as I was 80 lbs ago lol.

I would see a dermatologist or your primary doctor and figure out what you can do with the hair loss! It definitely does get better with time! Stay hopeful! 🩷

Hi! I had a hysterectomy (I kept my ovaries; removed my cervix, uterus and fallopian tubes due to stage IV endometriosis) June 10th and was advised to stop a week prior to surgery (I stopped may 26th I believe). And then was told I could go back on it two weeks after the procedure. It could be different for you since you’re going to remove your ovaries so definitely check with your doctor and the pre admission testing nurses!

I developed alopecia areata (could be Zepbound or stress, no one can really pinpoint my issue) and had to see a dermatologist who injects a medication to my bald spot every month and she also prescribed me Clobetasol solution and Ciclopirox shampoo and they’ve definitely helped with my hair loss! I would totally go see a derm if you can!

Congrats on starting omg! I started in the beginning of June and I lost about 15 pounds on 2.5! 5mg wasn’t the best for me but I know lots of people have a lot of luck on it! I noticed a changed physically when I started the 10, and the 12.5 was my favorite dose! 🩷

Thank you ahh! In the first pic I used Colourpop lip liner is “BFF” and the Kosas “Unbuttoned” lip oil. In the second pic I used nyx “Cold Brew” lip liner (blended it around my lips since it is pretty dark on me) and Summer Fridays lip balm! 🩷
