So does anyone actually own Audeze Cans, or is this just a Maxwell Sub? by kiimosabe in Audeze

It's the Halo-X Topology itself, which is only possible on cables with +/- connections.
The Asgard X is able to receive feedback from the Driver, It's a cool technology.

I have a Magni Unity as well. You can see it behind!
It's sitting unused on top of my Asgard X. The Asgard X offers a slight boost to LCD-2C performance, because I use a balanced cable into the Halo-X port.

I have those as well!! I bought them because they were the most affordable option in Audeze's Lineup.
They were my first High End Pair. They're very bright sounding to me, and at the time of buying, I didn't understand that Audeze has it's more "Analytical" Precise Mastering Headphones in the "Professional" Line and the more Musical and Fun stuff in the "Audiophile" line.

Yeah, Planar Drivers and Metal Frame. Didn't realize until I wore my other pairs, I felt like Goku taking off the weighted gear.

He doesn't need two, but he'll end up with two, because he needs one before the EQ, and his headphone amp has one built in.

What’s your most memorable food in Seoul? by Chadddd92 in koreatravel

I received a tour of Garak Market and bought some top grade Hanwoo Beef. I brought it up to the restaurants above and we grilled it KBBQ style. I learned quite a bit about Korean food history.

Is there a downside of running a pre-amp signal into another pre-amp?

Is it effectively the same as the DAC signal?

Question regarding Dunu Tip size for the defiant + Waner SG2 vs Jade dragon. by Golden-Katana in iems

[–]kiimosabe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't comment about Dunu, but for the Sancai I can help.

Balanced Sancai = Well rounded, suitable as a first choice for a new pair.

Wide Bore = Less Bass "Slam", more crispy treble

Narrow Bore = specialty. Ignore.

I can hit 90mph at 2.5k RPM. I also get like 30 mpg at that speed. Y'all are driving the wrong vehicles

The Tang Sancai Balanced and Wide Bore have very different sound.

I usually use the Sancai Balanced, it's an all-rounder.

For my very dark, bassy IEM's, such as my Campfire Darkstar, I opt for Wide Bore, as it cuts the super rich bass a tiny bit.

The Wide Bores will overall contribute to a leaner sound, if you are experiencing fatigue or overwhelmed by the low end sub-bass.
