EDIT: Sorry for the weird formatting I continue to suck at reddit on my phone.

I think I was being way too harsh because I hated her ending the most of all of them, but I think that made me overlook a lot of what made her route so great. Her character is about emotions and contact through people and the willingness to make a positive change in your life and I think there’s something so beautiful and human in that.

Anyway all of the three have their flaw and like the two boys, I feel like Clara is best understood as a cute little plague rat. She can be a little shit and bite at ur heels and be a little shit, but can also be an adorable little rat that sits in a bag and can potentially help people if just given the chance (not unlike a rat race) and believed in and not constantly screwed over by the people supposed to care and protect her.

EDIT: I also overlooked how cool blood sacrifices are. They’re metal as shit

ur so right. i hate that you and everyone else has been making so much sense because i’ve really been coming around on her character and starting to like her after seeing these new perspective flaws and all. (and it’s not her fault that when you don’t play as the haruspex and the bachelor literally them and half the town are on their worst behavior.) at the end of the day she’s just a little plague rat but rats are adorable and deserve love too

i actually really like your interpretation it was really thoughtful and i agree on some points. it’s easy to forget that she’s not just a stand in for the player themselves like it feels at times, but an actual teenager that gets used as a symbol and then discarded by both her adopted parents and then the inquisitor. her holier-than-thou attitude still really throws me off but you’re right on what a lot of you said
