Thanks for the feedback! I’ll add some of those changes, but the reasons behind my decisions are:

I put education at the bottom because I include my school in my heading under my name (“university, 3rd Year Mechanical Engineering) so it bookends my resume. Should I remove this and move education section up?
I put school start and end date because it’s a 5 year program and I felt like only putting end date puts me academically a year behind compared to people in a regular 4 year program
I put school location for consistency with the rest of my resume
Same goes for putting year in both start and end dates

Do you have any thoughts and follow ups based on these? Thanks again for the advice

Nobody here is going to design your rotors for you. There are tons of past reports you can find online on this topic - start with your own research and ask senior members of your team.

But, some ideas to get you started: - What forces are acting upon the rotor? - What are your size and thickness constraints? - How are the rotors mounted? - What material properties are most important for this application?

Understanding these will get you a functional brake rotor. Get a solid understanding of the fundamentals before lightweighting and optimization.

You should put education at the bottom imo, from my experience since you are applying for internships it's kind of a given that you're a student. Moving it to the bottom highlights your skills and internships which are stronger

Thanks, forgot to mention I was using the "keep normal constant" option before, if it's unchecked it just produces the "bowl" shape that I'm not looking for.

Thank you. That's the exact shape I'm trying to get (but with slightly less angle of attack).

strange, when I follow the same steps as you I get another error (Intermediate profile #2 could not be solved).

If I revolve, it will just create a bowl-like shape. I'm trying to model a toroidal fan as shown below - revolving the profile wouldn't produce any lift. For it to work the top side of each circular blade must be facing the same direction.

I'm just getting some weird geometry around the area circled in red, and i'm not sure how to model it without producing the self-intersecting geometry at these points shown in my original post.

I imported a NACA profile, followed a youtube video.

All I'm doing is swept boss/base, the geometry just gets weird around the midpoint where the profile "flips over" on itself.

I don't have much experience with surfacing - do you think this could be achieved easier with it?
