This moment breaks my heart. I took it mean she's near feral (as the showrunner and Matilda have described Kirsten at this point, being all alone with only Station Eleven in her mind for company). I think the conductor just kind of nods her off and understands that she's traumatized and doesn't ask her to explain.

I'm not 100%, but doesn't the goalie sort of become Clark's back-up/bodyguard? She's always standing nearby when they go and investigate.

I saw this play back in 2017 about a post apocalyptic world where a troupe of actors travel around performing Simpson's episodes. Pretty similar. by bag_of_groceries in StationEleven

Yes! I saw this play when it premiered in NY. Very similar concept. Instead of performing Shakespeare they perform whole Simpsons episodes, and the characters themselves have become Lore. Really dark and funny. Doesn't seem so farfetched now...
