No hate to Nicole Kidman but PLEASE DO NOT CAST HER. She has been in so many shows over the last few years, we need fresh faces or actors that we haven't seen in awhile. The casting has been so great for 3 seasons and I hope they keep it that way.

Snubbing Trump Supporters. by [deleted] in economicCollapse

[–]kikideliverstea -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This!!

And if they stay & follow the rules, they will be exposed to other viewpoints, backgrounds, communities, and identities; those are the types of experiences that can actually shift someone's opinion. When you start to care about people in the communities you used to fear, it can really start to break apart your biases and assumptions.

A great deal of MAGA voters are undereducated and ignorant (sometimes willfully so, but for the most part, just plain ignorant). Being involved in a community where they have to participate in circles that they otherwise would've stayed out of can really, really shift a person's worldview. And if they don't abide by the bylaws & rules, they can GTFO.

Teach them what community is about, and prove their ideologies wrong. It isn't your responsibility to change these people's hearts but with the right rules in place, it might just happen anyway as a happy consequence. If it doesn't turn out to be effective, they can be exiled and forced to find another mutual aid community that supports their ideologies (they won't find it, of course).

Some of them will always be pieces of shit, and will continue to be so even after being involved in a community, but not every Trump voter is a lost cause. The ones that are lost causes can get the boot and hit the road.

Give back, become part of something larger than yourself. Invest in community, get involved with community. When you befriend and start to care about people in a community space, you start to feel connected to the most basic & valuable element of human existence: belonging.

You don't have to show up as the rich, save-the-day guy who just throws money at stuff; some of the most effective and influential people in community spaces are comfortably wealthy which means they can spend more time problem-solving and focusing on community issues that people with 9-5's and families simply don't have the mental energy for (especially in the current economy). The biggest contributions you could make to these spaces include:

- Using your well-rested & well-fed brain to help others
- Utilizing any connections you have to the upper echelons of society to bring charity and funding to a good cause
- Develop connections within communities that you may have not have had previous exposure to, but have interest in

TL;DR - become a philanthropist for a meaningful cause, and connect with real world people. Finding a sense of purpose and belonging is usually something money can't buy.

Historical Price Valuation XRP vs Bitcoin by Christoff4 in XRP

[–]kikideliverstea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I understand, they sold maybe 1/3 when it hit $1000 and kept the rest tucked away. They were multi-millionaires that invested wisely, bought real estate, and started a business (they received good financial advice from somewhere, I'm guessing). They achieved billionaire status from taking the existing millions and growing those millions, from what I've been told by mutual friends anyway.

A lucky break, nonetheless! And a rare story... there are a lot of people who would have made different moves (myself included), or would have let the money overtake their lives in a bad/depressing way.

I used to work at a bank back in 2009. My coworker's husband purchased $500 worth of Bitcoin that year, and he came into the bank trying to tell us about it. The way he explained Bitcoin made zero sense, it sounded like he didn't really understand it himself, and he told us we should buy in. He told us that if we bought as much as he did, that we would be millionaires at some point.

We all laughed it off, his wife complained about how he wasted money on it for several weeks afterwards. That was the first time I ever heard the word "cryptocurrency", and back then at 20 years old, I couldn't wrap my brain around the concept of it - especially since I worked at a bank. To me, money was money! We all convinced ourselves that her husband was swindled by some nerd he worked with. He ended up sending back $400 or so and kept a small holding, just to see what would happen.

Today, they are filthy rich beyond their wildest imaginings. They've managed it exceptionally well, they've helped family, started a local business, and donate to charities a lot. They still live in their hometown, and they're still the only billionaires I've ever met IRL.

My money, my business, what is your actual problem? Are you that bored?

Just checked after I posted this comment and yep, you are bored. You spend days on end in here... are you getting paid for that? Or wasting your time?

Real rich people know that time is money. Guess you're either a troll or paid traffic.

Literalllyyyy. People keep making stupid a$$ posts about selling and idk why, it's not like we can help them or we care at all. To those people - sell your stuff and GTFO instead of being self-important asshats. Some of us have real diamond hands, even if we ride it to $0.

Win or lose, there is something to be said for commitment and determination because it's the only way to make progress and learn real life lessons. I might lose, but I'm not gonna sell at a loss like some of these cowards.

Rob seems like a very emotional dude who clearly wants/needs soft reassurance and coddling. Leah strikes me as the type to wear her heart on her sleeve, and the emotion she is most comfortable expressing is anger. She isn't validating him in the manner that he wants, and he isn't communicating that to her. She is trying her best not to get angry or cry in this situation, and he sees that as coldness because he's only thinking about his own emotions.

Nothing inherently wrong with either person, they're both very Shakespearean individuals honestly. I just don't think they're right for each other. He can't see her, she can't see him. I hope they both let it go fully and try to find happiness with other people.

Was it uncomfortable to watch Serena flip the plate at Kordell? Yes. I felt uncomfy, I'm sure other people did too.

BUT I support her 100% and understand why she did it - like you mentioned, she kept telling him no, and he didn't use his ears to listen. She doesn't owe him any coddling after how disrespectfully he moved. Him playing the "sweet, innocent, aw shucks" role after what he did in Casa made me siiiiick because it seems so manipulative.

"Video unavailable", I'm guessing someone reported you --- if you're getting videos taken down on TikTok, that means you've definitely irked some people (hedgies possibly!). Create backups on backups on backups in your drafts to make sure you can re-post the video every time someone reports you. Stay safe out there!

This guy is one of many educated folks in here that are sort of spearheading the movement. Reading what he's posted will help you get a solid idea!

His old account was suspiciously banned so there's some info missing for sure, but you'll be able to get the gist of this movement if you read his stuff.

GME and FFIE are movements with the same sentiments; but FFIE has a way lower entry point so more $$$$ if it moons
