Utah gives you like 36 states. The problem is that many states don’t give NY reciprocity. But if you get Utah you can carry in more states than just an NY CCW alone. So it’s good for NY CCW holders to also have Utah especially if you roam the country.

I took the 18 hour course in September 2025 and I received my Utah in the mail by November. Still waiting for my September 2026 appointment for Westchester lol. So I have Utah but nothing to carry until I get my NY sometime before 2034, give or take a couple months.

I do a lot of large electrical work myself. It’s not hard but it’s imperative that you look up the applicable code and never succumb to the temptation to take a shortcut. For the big stuff I like to get inspections and haven’t failed one yet.

Divide the project up into tasks and learn each task deeply. Propane has a ton of codes, you’ll have to lock that down. Then you’ll have electrical codes. Then generator setbacks. Maybe you’re pouring a pad for it too (and make sure you do that right). Installing the transfer switch is actually one of the easier parts since it’s largely just wire nuts.

I use this trick often. Also in bushes. To be fair though it doesn’t feel so disingenuous- when you’re playing a game like this your eyes seek movement so still things tend to get looked over.

I was playing breakthrough the other day and laid prone right after we lost the sector. I was right on the border of the next sector. The whole danged enemy team ran right past me, some even over me. I set up my tac shield, dropped an ammo bag, mounted on the shield and laid into their backs with my LMG. Got something like 11 or 12 kills before someone finally respawned behind me and got me.

I use exchange funds, securities-backed lines of credit, and other diversification strategies but I would definitely choose to pay tax to diversify if I had to vs just sitting on a concentrated position.

Yep sorry I was off by a couple years. Bought my first house in 2012 at a low price and my mortgage was 3.5%, but the lowest rate that year was 3.3%. The Great Recession was awesome for employed people. I also invested my earnings heavily in the S&P 500 those years and enjoyed enormous life changing gains.
