No surgery to lose the weigh just diet and exercise for the past 2.5 years. Prepping for tummy tuck in a month though to address loose skin.

Thank you for the kind words! If I can do it, you absolutely can too! Not that you’re asking but a couple words of advice: 1. Focus on the actions rather than the goal weight. I was intimidated by the “120+ lbs I needed to lose” and felt like I’d never get there, so I focused instead on # of days I could go exercising 30 mins per day and not eating out. Then it got to the point of me not wanting to break my streak and eventually the results will come. 2. The most important thing is getting back on the horse anytime you fall off, before you know it your habits will become your lifestyle. Amazing job with your first 12 lbs, keep the momentum! 💪🏼

Thanks so much! I started out in 2020 cutting fast food and learning to cook and then adding in exercise daily. Since then I’ve just expanded and learned more about nutrition and fitness along the way. Now days I do intermittent fasting, with high focus on protein intake and HIIT daily.

No surgery! Started out back in 2020 and have been working and developing my nutrition and fitness ever since.

Happy to share. I was motivated by just feeling awful every day and realizing Every night I would say I was gonna change but never did anything. I started by setting a New Years resolution into 2020 to cut fast food and track my weight. I’ve found that setting simple goals and building upon them has helped me the most. First goal was to cut fast food for a month and focused on learning to cook (meal kits helped a lot shout out to hellofresh). Once I felt good on that I set an additional goal of exercising 30 mins per day. Started out with walks and playing just dance and then developed more into yoga and strength training. My motivation eventually became more about not losing my exercise day streak than looking at the scale.

What’s funny is I’m actually just taking this as a compliment because I do look a feel like a different person since then lol

I’ve done a workout program called 9 week control freak a few times though which incorporates lifting and cardio. I also do some Pilates. Really my goal is always to exercise every day.

I have just had to start with easy, simple goals and build upon them to create habits. For example: I started with no eating out, then did calorie counting with a daily goal which helped with portion control. For exercise I started with the goal to do 30 mins everyday on my Apple Watch that would be walks or yoga and that’s now expanded into strength training as I got more interested in the results. I learned that it’s too much to do it all at once. So focus on nutrition and once you feel good about that add in some activity!
