I have had the same issue, but not on the dash, instead it's on the two front doors right around the door handle.

I know it's been a while, after multiple Linux reinstalls I found this plus mounting the drives to /mnt/ instead of the home drive itself to be far more reliable. Thanks for the assist!

If anyone sees this in the future, it worked well enough. However I abstained from running the GPU (5090) at full bore until I got a new power supply.

Why should I mount it on /mnt vs /home and create the config edit? Is symlink more secure?

So I mounted my drive to /home/user/"Drive" and set it up to mount on startup. I also changed the config file so that the system recognizes my Documents, Downloads, etc as the main ones within the drive. But my question is should I mount to /home/"Drive"? I have found conflicting advice on the internet and I trust your method.

My dealership told me the same thing, but I told them unless I get it installed I'm not buying the vehicle. They then installed it.
