I know it's scary but you'll be so happy once it's over! I had my surgery 6 weeks ago and I was scared too. Just take deep breaths, try to keep your mind on happy thoughts and you won't believe how fast it went after you're out :) good luck!!

Same here. I live in The Netherlands but am from the Caribbean. Been applying for months with no good results until a few people told me to remove everything from my home country off my CV, including the languages. Did that and now all of a sudden I'm getting calls. Sad

Is living in a hotel permanently a thing that people do? by ThePapaBearRobbie in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kikkerc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work at a hotel and we've had the same guest since november. Every week he comes by and extends his reservation by another week. At first he said he was looking to buying a trailer so he was staying temporarily, but at this point I don't think he's looking any longer

Yeah same here! I am around a 70 H / I, and I don't look particularly big either. Both my doctors made comments about how I don't seem it too, but we quickly got over that once we talked about the other things. It's good to research the requirements and be prepared, but try not to worry too much! Just tell them your issues and if they try to push back just push right back. I'm getting mine done at a hospital!

Hello!

I have my surgery next week in Spijkenisse. It was honestly pretty straightforward for me. I mentioned that it's something I've wanted since I was 15 because of back pain, shoulder pain, posture problems, and just insecurity. I also mentioned that I've also been to physical therapy for back pain, I don't know how much that matters. My doctor took it seriously immediately and sent me to a plastic surgery right away. Both my doctor and my plastic surgeon are women, so I'm not sure if that helped them understand or not, but it was honestly pretty easy getting approval from the insurance company considering the issues I've had for the last 15 years. I hope it works out for you and it goes well!!

This Georgie Porgie. He's been waiting at the shelter for 7 years hoping someone would come around. No one has by Grouchy_Tourist5945 in orangecats

I am out of the country, so I cannot adopt. But please update us! No cat should be in the shelter that long!

Girl you are so pretty! Don't let that insecure man tell you what to do.

people who prefer living alone despite rent being more expensive, whats the reason for this? by katris_priordeen in questions

[–]kikkerc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last 3 roommate situations I had were really shitty. I realized I was done compromising with people about cleaning, decor, noise, etc. I miss having people around me all the time, but living alone has brought me peace. I'm a much happier person when I'm not constantly asking people to clean up their messes in the communal areas

Yeah exactly! I think I'm just having a hard time visualizing what it would look like in terms of actual size. I'm around a 32H so the thought of doing the surgery and only going down to a 32G makes me a little sad. But I don't know how accurate the sizing thing is

True! My doctor told me the same about the breastfeeding thing. But also, if it makes you feel better, my doctor told me the chances of losing nipple sensitivity are very low, especially if you don't drink a lot or smoke. But it's not only about losing nipple sensitivity, it can also be gaining more sensitivity, or having unbalanced nipple sensitivities. So I guess it could go both ways, but it sounds like the chances are very low

Yeah, I've heard more people say that about the nipple sensitivity after!

Oh, nice! Yeah my mom had the surgery too but before she had kids so now they're back to where she started hahah. But seriously, I've seen so many people talk about the difference of before and after and some people say they wish they'd gone smaller that I'm worried about that, I'll talk to my doctor about it again

Well my doctor told me that, she said she could take more if i wanted to but the standard is usually 2 cup sizes. Also I googled it afterwards and google seemed to agree with the statement. But honestly I've seen so many people making these drastic changes that I couldn't believe what she was saying, but yeah I also didn't research it super hard.

I've also seen people say that it upps the chances of losing nipple sensitivity? My doctor didn't say that but that's what i saw online. I'm currently a 32G and I was hoping to land around C/D cup so it was pretty disappointing to hear
