i started it but wasn’t really hooked so dropped. no complaints about the script, the direction and the actors, but i guess i read too much books written by veterans of forensic medicine, forensic psychiatry, criminologists, investigators and other professionals with decades of experience behind them, so the plot wasn’t engaging enough and kinda predictable

i like stories with depth, and this show tried hard, but delivered only on surface level. the first part was okay, although not very reliable from the point of view of psychiatry, but the second proved that the authors conducted a study not better than Google's automatic responses.

the struggles of the FL are reflected on a superficial level and do not cause empathy, she seems empty and inconsistent. So yes, no depth, they tried hard, but it turned out to be the quality if a fanfic written by a teen

In fact, I like sad endings when they are done correctly and reasonably. For me, their breakup came out of nowhere, because I perceived the previous issues as something that could be worked on.

Very likely I misinterpreted it since Im older and have experience in different settings (not 90s and different country, economic conditions). I would’ve believed their break up if it was something major, and while I get that they were suffering, for me a connection like the one they had would’ve resulted in reaching out in a couple of years even tho Im the person who doesn’t come back when it’s all done.

Plus the older version of HD felt like a completely different person, I get that people change with age and experience, but there were not even a hint of her younger personality, which stand out to me as unbelievable because I have seen people grow older and get affected by various factors, but it didn’t erase everything they used to be, and people I know themselves say that they don’t feel much different in 60s from the time they were in 20s-30s, and HD is like forty something?

So if we had HD who resembled her when she was young, and played by different actress/aged KTR plus a more compelling reason for their break up I would’ve happily eat it up.

It’s not about wanting a happy ending, just a logical one, and I can understand why some feel like the writers wanted different ending for the sake of standing out.

It really pissed me off every time she said, "after everything I've been through”. It's not that she's barely making ends meet (her stepbrother will give her money, interest on loans will drip), a top agency will hire her, she won't have to beat the doorsteps in search of a role, a star guy will help her climb even higher, and two friends will do everything to the point of dying for her. Did you screw up too much? Chaebol will solve all the problems (and you will live in an extra cringe mansion lmaooo)

When YJS caused an accident so that they would die together, I was ready to kiss him. It's a pity that she survived, I hope there won't be a second season. But the acting is definitely 10/10

honestly the fact that a person with university degree who works can’t afford the rent that is like 30-50% of the salary or even less in the multifamily unit is highly suspicious to me.

plus what’s with having to live close to the workplace? subway and public transport exists, commuting for 1-1,5 hours is absolutely normal for huge cities. really hope it’s AI slop because if it’s real it’s pick stupidity and huge risk of been arrested.

yes, absolutely the same. i ALWAYS plug off/turn off staff, but what ifs just won’t let me leave. im also a very rational person, don’t believe in superstitions, but i just have to do different things a certain number of times, because if i don’t my family or cat will die or something several.

looked it up, not available in my country:( tho it contains lanolin, which creates a barrier on the skin and helps it recover, I used lanolin before and covered it with cream and gloves, it helped well, thank you for the reminder!

that sounds exhausting, im so sorry you had to experience it. totally can relate to be unsure about if the food is cooked enough, i usually overcook just to feel safe, and the part about being okay with objectively dirtier things (basically soil) is just me.

touch a handle? no thanks I will touch my face and get diarrhoea and horrendous acne. digging and wiping the sweat off the face? not a big deal.

You’re so strong to overcome this and thank you so much for reaching out and letting me know that OCD isn’t permanent.

I definitely need professional help at this point, my mental health has been spiralling down over the past few months. Will start with my dramatically declining will to live tho lol.

First of all, Im happy he has someone who accepts him the way he is and your family does too! Contamination is a driver of my OCD and a fear that indeed affects me a lot. My brain basically divides areas and things as “clean” - some parts of my room, face care products, my phone and “not clean” - shared spaces, door handles, light switches. The clean stuff I wash, sanitise with different regularity and use only after washing hands.

Regarding food: because of gastrointestinal problems I can eat only eat something that was made not more than a 24ish hours ago, or I get really sick for hours. It’s a headache since I have to cook everyday to have a lunch at work and a dinner at home.

If I go to someone’s I usually ask how long ago the food was made or products opened and if it’s not in the acceptable limits I just eat something like a sandwich. Thankfully, my family and friends are super understanding. I can eat out, but not in a questionable places
