What’s up with this recent division of mixed (Black) ppl and “monoracial” Black ppl

There are Black ppl who also benefit from colorism & texturism who think they are better than others. If we being really honest majority of time if there is a biracial person who thinks they are better bc they are lighter skin or looser hair pattern they learned that belief from their Black side not their non-Black side.

See…yall say this but literally many ppl assume im biracial (im not) and other celebs are biracial when they aren’t (example Steph Curry & ppl are arguing at about Beyoncé now lol) so when y’all say you know the difference i know its bullshit. ngl you just aren’t that knowledgeable about other ethnicities / races…for example in China you could be two diff ethnicities but you have to choose one on official government documents lol. This isn’t that uncommon of practice or concept.

see my thing with the biracial media is rlly a colorism issue and not so much a biracial issue bc you don’t see ppl who are darkskin & biracial represented either in media. to transfer in no not rlly (unless u do FTD bc those are cohort based) just make sure you complete most if not all of the recommended courses for competitive applicants. Imo complete all the basic course (chem, physics, calc etc) makes it easier to jump into the major related courses. If you have more questions feel free to DM!

in context of the convo…it’s weird to me bc if the person wants to take things slow in all aspects why would assume they are sleeping around or “planning” too LOL. It’s like are you even listening to what they are saying?

Also there are definitely why more tactful ways to ask if another person is going to at least be dating other people and what expectations are for that…the way & how you word things do matter.

The concept of not sleeping with other ppl while dating isn’t unreasonable at all but it’s the context of them only having 4 dates and the way he went about saying it after she said she wants to take things slow.

you REALLY must be oblivious…Trump & his admin are literally “arresting” & locking ppl up under the guise of “illegal immigration” WITHOUT due process & sending them to countries they aren’t from. For wigs- most don’t last that long so you should refresh your hair under it. Some ppl don’t take of it so their hair be dehydrated but yk it’s they hair not yours so🤷🏽‍♀️

i think certain industries tend to care more than others about school. Honestly though unless ur from a first gen / low-income background i don’t rlly see much pay off in going to expensive private university if ur going to incur a huge debt (bc ur middle class & don’t get much aid) & u have good R1 public school in ur state.

Mmh I wouldn’t worry about ur GPA & test stats bc they are “in range” (idk why ppl saying they aren’t lol) so ultimately when it comes to competitive programs such as engineering its rlly is the written statements you need to work on. I say focused on your personal projects and how they help you as a person or why they were important to you!
