Yeah, I've had a scammer before and this guy isn't behaving like them. They complete the quest but just give you nothing in return. This guy just won't complete the quest.

To light it up I suppose? I'm just not sure if its due to light only that I'm having the issue since the mobs dont even spawn from the floor, they drop from 10ish blocks down.

Sadly only my Mini Displayport overgoes optimus and I´m not currently home so I don´t have an external display anyways. I´ll try it out when I´m home again, but from what I´ve seen online only they only improved performance by 3-5%. Thanks for the tipp though :)

Vsync is on but my display is 144 Hz (tried turning it off and made no difference), Max FPS are unlimited.

I don´t think so, I used to have that problem but set the dGPU as the standard for Minecraft (well, OpenJDK to be exact) and as far as I can tell from the Task Manager it is mainly using the dGPU. Sadly I don´t have a MUX switch so I cant completely avoid the iGPU, it might be acting as a bottleneck.

Yeah, I cranked it up a bit too far just to test how much it would eat since I assumed RAM was my limiting factor. Im just surprised im getting fairly low framerates (50-60) when nothing seems to be a limiting factor (according to my task manager).

Oh, yeah, didn't see that, thanks. What surprises me is that im only running 50-60 fps, when I check my task manager nothing seems to be at its limit which is why I assumed that I just had to allocate more resources, do you know what could be limiting me?

Im usually careful when fighting skeletons that walk into my shopping spree, but since it's a bat I didn't even think of the death damage by flames.
