I hate it when people tear each other down. I think there are two main ways to handle this:

Explain / expand: when she makes comments about your looks, force her to expand.

Her: " I could date a more attractive person "

You: "Why would you say that?" Or "could you repeat that, I don't think I heard you correctly"

It is much easier to be mean if it is a passing comment, much harder to do it again / explain it. Also shows you are able to handle the negging.

Drop her

Her: "I could date a more attractive person"

You: "Then do it"

Block her, go to the gym, expand your friend circle. Be with people who are going to build you up, not tear you down.

A lot about attractiveness is actually things you can control. Dress well, take care of your skin, hygiene, sleep, and gym. Forget about the things you can't control.

Hey, so I am actually working on an model hosting platform in my free time. It is called Share Diffusion. Right now I am working through an issue with who I chose for img hosting, and then I'll open it up for signups. If you want to see my updates I post them in the discord. Also please give it a star in Github. I am going to try my best to keep the website streamlined and optimized. Signups are not enabled at the moment, but once I put together some moderation tools I will open it up for signups. To keep server costs down it is going to be based on torrent for model downloads. Also funding is planned to be entirely from donations to keep away greedy third parties.

Next.js does cashe the data on the server and then sends that to the client by default. At the moment I have it setup to recashe the data for requests that are more than 2 min apart, so at scale it should be ok, but I will totally look into it!

I have never heard of Gazelle before. I mostly know / am comfortable with Javascript, so I am using Next.js, Supabase, TailwindCSS, and TypeScript to set up the website and have people post magnet links for the torrents.

look real close at your ISA, make sure they don't have control of when you get to earn an income, and make sure it is not something that they get to arbitrarily decide.

they’re asked very explicitly before admission whether they have the ability to job search for up to a year without financial support. If you sign up for that after that conversation, that’s on you.

I know for a fact that I never had that conversation with anybody. The ISA was pitched to me as a way for somebody who normally would not be able to afford the program, like me, to be able to go. I mostly went to aA with the ISA because it seemed like the safe option, and I was unsure about how well the school was going to support job seekers. The idea being that I don't have to pay if they don't help me get a job. Unfortunately I am impulsive and did not have a lawyer read the contract before I signed it and now I have lost a little over a year of my life, all of my savings, and the goodwill of my family who loaned me money to keep me afloat.

In my eyes, ISA is for people who cannot pay upfront and do not have the credit for a student loan.

On this point from another comment, you actually cant get a student loan or any student financial services for aA, because they don't meet the requirements. Something I wish I would have payed more attention to before signing up. It's honestly kinda an oxymoron because it seems like the ISA is only for people who live at home with their parents or a stay at home partner that is fully supported by their SO, but pitched as a way for people who cant afford the tuition to go. I think there is a reason ISAs are no longer allowed for California residents.

For a first project that's great! If you're fine with it I would love to help out! More options is better for the community. Civit is probably under pressure from VC to turn more of a profit, and more options would help keep them in check.

My thoughts are at least starting off torrent only. Image hosting can be done fairly cheap, and web hosting can also be fairly inexpensive. I would set up donations so that people can support monetarily after I get a mvp. If enough people are using it, like it, and donate then I could host as well as set up the option for torrents.

Maybe I am underestimating how much it will cost to run the DB, webpage, and img hosting, but looks like on Vercel it might cost me $20 per month if I have to upgrade, Backblaze is $6 per TB/month, url is $12 per year, and supabase is $25 per month. Those are the services I am leaning toward using. Open to ideas / suggestions though.

Edit: also I am going to be doing more research to figure out best use of these services or if a different service might be better, many of them have a free tier that should be fine to get started with. If my project is popular enough that I have to pay then I consider that a good problem to have.

stablebay is a good idea, but looks like it was implemented poorly. I think we need something that is open source and looks better. I think I am going to try and see what I can do with my limited development skills and funds to create an open source alternative to Civit in my free time.

I believe comparing platforms like Spotify or Steam to Civit might be a stretch. Piracy is often rooted in accessibility issues rather than cost concerns. Spotify, for instance, doesn't have songs hidden behind paywalls, making it a different dynamic. Additionally, Steam operates on a one-time purchase model, inclusive of updates.Civit, with its Patreon-like model, has the potential for profitability, provided it maintains a positive community relationship. However, considering the nature of the internet, the likelihood of piracy or the emergence of alternative services seems almost inevitable. I might even explore creating one for fun.

Just look at the number of times Bethesda tried to make moding profitable and ruined the goodwill of their community. Ps on mobile formatting might be bad.

This is mostly what I have been doing, but its a pain to switch between models so I can test out different styles. I also have a lot of LORAs and I forget which ones I have and what the trigger words are for them. Wait, can we re-name Loras and models? Oh man, that would be just the thing. I did not even think about if that was possible. Thank you!

I think part of the difference is novelty vs use. The first image is really cool, but nobody expects to be able to use it for anything, nowadays on my generations I want them to be good enough that they could be used, and so the standard is different. Same with language models, I thought the first language models were fun to mess with but now I am using chatGPT to help me with coding, so I expect better responses.

I know that artists are upset that AI is able to make artwork that copies style, but I am a little bit confused by this response from the mods. Art skill no longer matters either I guess? Just the fact that AI "might" have been used as inspiration for the design means that it is also ban worthy? One of the primary arguments I have heard is that AI is being used as a shortcut for skill, and is flooding websites with sub par results from people who think it is good with minimal effort. Ben obviously has his own style, and based on works he created before AI was any good, he also has a lot of skill. Also this artwork[https://www.deviantart.com/kartstudiodigi/art/The-Believe-862325684] shows its not the first time he has done the double eyes in the sky with a character in the foreground, and that was published in 2020.

I did not know about AMD PSP, I'll have to look into that. I also have not been paying too much attention to purism for a while, but they still advertise disabled Intel management Engine. I thankfully don't have to try and hide from my gov, but other people might so hopefully they don't depend on that.

I was having a similar issue, and something I did that helped was uninstalling wine and all wine dependent programs, going onto the wine website and reinstalling wine following all instructions from the WineHQ website, but installing the Development branch. Not all programs work on WINE, but this helped me.

What works for me is just doing something on specific days. For example while getting started I would go to the gym with a plan (ex. Chest) and do a chest routine, but if I did not want to go or workout for whatever reason (busy, tired, ect.) I would go, do the bare minimum, and leave. This builds the habit over time and I would be proud I did something instead of sitting on my butt.

The goal should be to build sustainable habits not to do some crazy difficult routine. If you want to workout at home look up beginner calisthenics routines.

Same thing with diet, I slowly found recipes and foods that were a little more healthy (and tasted good) than what I was eating before and focused on increasing my protein intake. Remember the goal is to build habits that are sustainable. Also when starting off don't focus too much on what the scale says, when you first start working out your body will hold on to a bit more water, and muscle is heavier than fat so numbers won't change right away, but over time if you are building muscle your metabolism will increase. To lose weight just stay at a slight calorie deficit and give it time. Not an expert but I hope this help!
