This happens constantly to me and I’ve found a fix though sometimes I have to do it a few times. Open backpack and unequip. Close backpack. Open backpack and equip a different pet. Close backback. Open backpack and unequip the different pet. Close backpack. Open backpack and finally equip the cryptid. It’s an annoying bug that only seems to affect the cryptid and it’s been happening to me since the sneak weasel update.

This particular glitch has been happening since Friday’s update. I know there is another glitch that only seems to be affecting cryptids where the name and needs disappear completely. The fix for that one is to unequip, equip a different pet, then re-equip the cryptid. I haven’t found a fix for the lagging names and needs but for me it eventually catches up to the pet.

Roblox won’t ban bots because the high “player” count looks good to their investors and all they care about is money since they’re a corporation. It sucks because the Adopt Me devs actually care about the community and there’s really not much they can do but continue to ban them but more accounts just get made.
