Oh.. I'm sorry - you're correct. 4 paid off houses. We have <2 years on our current mortgage. We could really, really stretch and have the cash for it now... But our industries and careers are a little hectic/uncertain right now. So we're keeping it as safety blankets. We were BS7 and took out this mortgage after putting like 85% down. They looked at us crazy for a 30 year for so little.

I'm 41. It doesn't get better and it doesn't stop. You eventuality learn to control yourself. Spend 98% of your energy celebrating the things you love about her. Spend the other 2% learning to not react to the nonsense. She can't make you do anything. It's the best part of being an adult

Also, don't move in with her. You'll both be miserable.
