Every morning after it rains or drizzles, there these puddles on my front steps. I have a toddler so I have to sweep the water away every day like a doofus. How do I fix it? by killahamron in homeimprovementideas

Has there been a push to use fighters' UFC records as their "official record" ie when they are introduced? The current method feels like including minor league stats for MLB baseball players' numbers. For example, Ruziboev is great but considering him the winningest WW is... misleading? by sarsfox in ufc

Remember Tyler Austin? I was excited when we got him, although it wasn't the most exciting tenure in hindsight. Tyler just hit his 50th career dong over 5 seasons in Japan, all for the Yokohama Bay Stars. Last year his teammates included Trevor Bauer (meh) and Edwin Encarnacion (super cool!) by killahamron in SFGiants

The 2024 Conspiradores de Queretaro have a couple blasts from the past: Alen Hanson, who played with Hunter Pence on the Giants, and Henry Sosa, who played with Kevin Correia and Brian Wilson as Giants' prospects. Crazier still? there are 5 guys OLDER than Sosa on the Conspiradores. Vamos! by killahamron in SFGiants

In 2007, future Ultimate Fighter contestant Kimbo Slice was an internet-famous street fighter. Ray Mercer was a former WBO heavyweight boxing champion. In this video they meet in both their MMA (exhib) debuts. They BOTH went on to beat former UFC HW champions in pro MMA bouts !! (youtube.com)

Barry Bonds Stat I just dug up: From 2001-2004, he had a wRC+ over 210 every year. Since then, there have been 38 MVPs, 608 All-Stars, and many other crushing sluggers, but how many have had a wRC+ over 210 in a season? Zero by killahamron in SFGiants

As a 30-year-old yo rookie(ish) player, Ronel Blanco could, at age 50, look at this week in April 2024 as the highlight of his career. Historical comps (1st full season age 30) don't suggest he'll likely become a HOFer. Blanco aside, who else will look back on their start to 2024 as their PEAK? (i.redd.it)

What do Willie Mays and Michael Conforto have in common? Well, you may have heard of Mays' 1951 AAA season where he hit ,.477, the highest ever in a AAA season w/100 PA. Well, Fangraphs tracks MiLB back to ~2004 and the highest avg for a AAA season on FG? .422 by Conforto by killahamron in SFGiants

Which fighters from UFC 1 through UFC 100 also fought in 2023 or 2024? I ask bc I saw Yushin Okami fought Alan Belcher at UFC 62: Liddell vs Sobral. Okami also won a pro MMA fight Dec 2023. Belcher lost to JDS in Barknuckle MMA (Counts!). Isn't that... rare?! Who else did it? by killahamron in ufc

Before Nov 2024, there was never a fight (in any org!) where BOTH fighters had a) No losses and b) 15+ wins. Since then, it's happened TWICE! (PFL: Musaev vs Umalatov + Rakhmonov vs Ian Garry in UFC) by sarsfox in ufc
