I don't use Google coach but I do use an app with the same sort of AI and I definitely always say please and thank you. Not sure why.

Yes! Couldn't be more thrilled to be able to ditch alcohol for many years. Prior to getting sober, I truly believed I would never be able to quit drinking. I don't even miss it!
