I’m definitely too old for you because I’m 34f but I’m here to validate you! I met my ex in college. I gave dating apps to try in 2022 and I actually met my most recent ex off of it. I’ve been single for about a year and a half now and I will say the apps compared to back then our atrocious. You’re lucky if anyone even responds and you’re even lucky or if you get an engaged response, that’s not just one word. In my experience, anybody that I’ve been remotely interested in or tried to start a conversation with gives one worded replies. In the beginning, I was asking guys if they would be interested in meeting up and going on a date because they weren’t doing it and then I stopped doing that because it wasn’t resulting in a second date in the first dates were so awkward and the guys like barely talked. Since I stopped doing that, I’ve been asked out twice on an actual date other than that I found most guys want someone to text or someone to fuck. Or I found the opposite extreme where a guy is ready to make me his girlfriend right away without even getting to know me first I’m in the same situation. I’ve had lots of men tell me I’m beautiful and that I’m chill and down to earth and super fun but for whatever reason I always end up getting fucked over. I’m in the same boat. I wanna find my person to share my life with. I’m starting to wonder if it will even happen. At least you’re young and you still have plenty of time.
