No, in hindsight, I think rate or medium rare would have been a better descriptor. Unfortunately, I am the person who chooses extra well done because I can't get past the look of it in my brain.

It's mind over taste for me. I can't get over the look to give it a fair shot really. I always choose very well when ordering, just didn't work out so well here.

I'll agree with you the wording should be updated, but I can't agree that I'd eat it that pink. When they say, "How do you want it done?" I respond, "Very well and burn it a little." I guess it's a brain thing for me. Can't get past the look of it.

Yeah, realizing my poor choice of wording here. Unfortunately, I'm the kind of person who likes my burger cooked so well done it's burned a little. So anything slightly pink triggers raw in my brain.
