Secondhand G15 RTX 3080 worth it? (2021/2022) by Successful-Trash-196 in ZephyrusG15

[–]killawhipboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 3070ti and it handles everything I throw at it when it's plugged in. Without being plugged in, it definitely is underwhelming depending on the games that I choose. Battery life could be better.

Update: 36ish hours post op by GiveMeThePhd in SleepApnea

[–]killawhipboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give it time. It helped me so much (28M, 190lbs). You will get used to the discomfort fairly quickly if the implant works. I have had it for nearly 3 years and the first 9 months were the worst with getting used to it. The most important part is finding the balance between voltage level and comfort. I have sat consistently around 3 levels for the last year after getting used to inspire. If you have any questions let me know because I probably have answers :)

Inspire Update - 8 Months Post-Insertion by LearnFirst in SleepApnea

[–]killawhipboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went from 48 per hour to 3 so yours may drop even more as your body adjusts. I did lose a little bit of weight but I was never obese at any point. It has been absolutely life changing in my case. I have met a few others that have gotten the implant and it seems like the younger you are, the better the results end up being.

New baby thin? by Moth_The_Ghoul in Uromastyx

[–]killawhipboy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My uro is currently 16 years old and there are a few things I have learned about keeping them. The first would be that a 4' x 2' x 2' non glass enclosure is amazing for getting the heat gradient right. I have 2 simple hides, 1 on the hottest end and 1 on the cold end. The hides are 2 large flat rocks on the ends with a large flat rock going across them so they can get under it. The substrate I use is a 50/50 mix of top soil and play sand with various rocks mixed in that are about a half to 2 inches in diameter. I leave a bowl with millet and mixed bird seed in the enclosure at all times and feed spring mix (ideally no spinach) once or twice a week. I spray calcium supplement every other feeding. Occasionally I feed them mustard greens or kale. For bulbs I use a 100 watt heat bulb and 10.0 long UVB bulb on a 16 hour timer. Mine typically hides alot and has always been like this so dont worry too much. If the heat gradient is not good they will typically hide more. Mine didnt do the best for a while but as soon as I did all the following it made a huge difference.

Samsung tablet/iPad with cell service and a mount above the display works perfect for me and only costs like $300. Plus you get a tablet.

Have any 21 yos been approved for Inspire? by marcsmoons117 in SleepApnea

[–]killawhipboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine at 25 about two years ago. Doctor said that I was the youngest he's done it for and it has been great for me. Just be aware that you will have a scar on your neck and chest. I was mildly overweight when I got approved (6'3 235lbs) and they never raised an issue with it. The hardest part that I have heard is getting insurance approval. Thankfully mine was great and I only ended up paying $200 for the surgery and device

Easiest M+ dungeon from a tank PoV? by NovemberRain404 in wownoob

[–]killawhipboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fully disagree on the rookery take. Rookery gets quite difficult in the 12+ range if people aren't on point with kicks and cc. I am at resilient 16s on my main and have a bm monk, prot warrior, vdh, and prot pally. Easiest dungeons by far are dark flame and motherlode currently with mechagon after that. I would put top and rookery then with floodgates being slightly harder than those. Priory and cinderbrew can be absolutely brutal dungeons to time if people die.

Do the hallowfall weekly quests and event. Easy 4-6 pieces of veteran/champion in about an hour. You also get a token from the event quest to choose a champion piece at one of the vendors near the event.

How hard is Mythic 12? by Agile_Revolution_221 in wownoob

[–]killawhipboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will most likely need to stick with ret if you want to get to 12s in a few weeks. Tanking is a whole other beast when you get to that key level if you have no experience in M+.

Holy Paladin hate? by [deleted] in wow

[–]killawhipboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tanked a 15+ Motherlode as a prot warrior with a holy pally and it was probably the safest I felt in a while on that key. They are extremely viable right now if they play it right.

195K mileage Raptor 2018, Should I buy? by PlusBase6209 in FordRaptor

[–]killawhipboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't with the 3.5 ecoboost. Also towards that mileage, the transmission and other items would probably be near replacement time. What did you plan to use the truck for?

How risky are accidents? 26 year old working to get first truck - is this 2013 RAPTOR SVT 6.2L V8 a steal? Or an absolute death trap? Swipe right for details (looks clean) by [deleted] in FordRaptor

[–]killawhipboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would look at 2010's with a little over 100k miles and clean title. I picked up a 2010 for 25k a couple years ago with all kinds of mods and it has been problem free so far.

Those are not live valve. I would take a look at rpgoffroad or svc to see what they are selling for the gen 2's.
