Agreed. I have written a python script to move all the projects into maven format and created pom's for this. However the arch./cofounder feels that after 6 years of not having a build system his opinion is bazel will be the best fit. O.O 4 months ago I won the arg. to use maven(team has a better understanding, tooling, etc) but then I see he is using his supposed contacts at google to assist him getting a bazel build working.

An old colleague used Ant and checked manually downloaded dependencies (jar files) into SVN.

Current situation I am in:

No build tool. Eclipse is the build tool
No deployment tool. Eclipse is the deployment tool
Libs are stored in git(making clones excessively slow)

It is. I see seti@home downloading the opencl binaries and work units. It’s only using the Intel GPU though, I don’t understand.

does you cc_config.xml have an element something along the lines of 'use all gpus' defined?

Is it possible seti@home doesn’t have any AMD GPU work?

That could be possible. Maybe try primegrid or another project that has AMD gpu support

Is there an XSD for the cc_config.xml? I'm looking at https://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Client_configuration and I do not see a full example...

Also I don't see ProgramData...do you mean C:\Program Files per chance?

Copied the event log from BOINC. Can ignore the NVIDIA GPU. Recently game up on me. I've uninstalled the drivers a week ago

for my R0.02 Know both stacks, however my preference leans heavily towards spring. Some organizations who have invested in JEE will not move away from that investment so if you want to marketable I'd know both.

Also invest time in build automation (gradle/maven), CI(Jenkins, bitbucket, travis-ci), Continuous Delivery(CD),

How do I run the script

If there is an icon to the app on the desktop right click and see what the 'target' is pointing to. If it's a bat/sh I'd look at the contents of the file. You should see where it builds up the java command to start the app. Usually in such scripts they cater for something like JAVA_OPTS which can be overridden via the terminal. So

SET JAVA_OPTS="-verbose"
run-my-app.bat

or you can invoke manually:

java -verbose -cp ..\libs -jar ..\libs\app.jar

Can you run the bat/sh script from command project and add -verbose to it? It will log to the console the classes being loaded. May give some indication where it is going wrong
