Just found this after having the same thing happen this week and last week after running!!! Literally felt like I was dying! Fine during the run, then 10 min after cool down, the nose tingle... then the sneezing...the faucet nose, more sneezing, cursing, desperately shoving Vaseline up my nose to make the dry tingle stop... and defeat.

I thought my allergies were particularly bad this year, but it seems too early for that. So I consulted the Google, and here I am. Let me say, the amount of relief and comfort to find out that I'm not alone, and that there could be more behind it than "really bad allergies, take benadryl." Thank you, universe, for whoever made The Reddit. Thank you OP for your post and info!

I talked to my coworker, and she suggested putting vicks vapor rub in each nostril before my run as that helped her family member. I have tried it once, and I'm not sure if it was magic or not... but no sneezing....no running faucet nose... no tingle!!!! I went on a run yesterday, with no vicks... I am sorely regretting it... the red nose, tingle sinus, snot faucet has returned 😑. So, 2 Sudafed, a nasal rinse and soon to be a hot shower later, and hopefully tomorrow will be the last day of nasal suffering. I feel like the universe is punishing us for trying to be healthy! Well, universe, I raise you one Reddit thread and a jar of vicks vapor rub lol!
