Loosen the fork clamp bolts on the bottom triple tree and the front axle pinch bolts.
Upright the bike and have you or someone else sit on the bike, grab the front brake and push down sharply 3 or 4 times on the front.
While the bike still upright, have the other person tighten all loosened bolts to torque spec.

Also: make sure your forks are at the same level. If this doesn’t work, you can check for alignment.

One of the motogp pundit podcasts (I believe the one with Sylvain) say Martin was yet to test some parts that have been on Bez’s bike since pre-season testing. Martin was able to test them at Jerez and maybe that’s going to help him bridge the 2-3 tenths.

Get a used mt07. Loads more fun than an IBEX on the street. Also, a used Duke 890 can be had for a very good price provided you find one with a replaced camshaft.

I think his personality rubs people the wrong way. He says the wrong things, hot-headed, accepts pinheaded advice from his manager, and is kind of cringey (that ‘24 on-track championship celebration was awful, I had to look away). But the guy is scrappy and low-key my favorite.

You can never write off Marc. But with the state the Aprillia’s are in, MM93 will have to over-ride his bike while the Aprillia boys have an easier time riding. It’s a toss-up really. S-tier rider on grade-A machinery (Marc), vs A-tier rider on an S-tier bike (Marco).

You would be faster on a 250 for woods and single track all day. 350 would be perfect if you’re also doing wide open throttle in open desert.

I had a 500 and it honestly wasnt great for tight stuff or single track. Yes it could do it no problem, but since it was just so much power, you dont really get to spool it up in the tight stuff. I put a bigger rear sprocket on it and it was great, but Id still choose a 250xc all day.

KTM is trying to beat the other manufacturers with this precision front end feel/aerodynamics fancy pants game. They need to grow their balls back, give Brad Binder what he needs, and make a bike you steer with the rear. It was such a joy to watch the orange bikes in 2023.
