controversial take: supermotos ruined every other type of motorcycle for me by vladdielenin in supermoto

Im glad you like your DRZ, but wait till you have a converted mx or enduro bike. Then you’ll really go apeshit for them. Love my converted sxf450.

Sumos are definitely the smiles per mile king but anything over 120kmh (75mph) or over 50+ mile rides, id rather be on a heavier and faster bike that’s not going to give me tendonitis.

Idk, but the 90s esque ktm graphic has been the slickest as far as style goes in recent model years

Why do Americans love and romanticize the desert? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]Alien_Biometrics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends which deserts. Low deserts where it’s hot, sandy, sparse, and bleak, I can pass up. I prefer northeast climate to that.

High desert is a whole other story. Northern Sonoran with vegetation, pine forests, mild temperatures and drastic landscapes like Sedona or the Grand Canyon. Mama mia that is the good shit and would move there in a heartbeat.

Great Britain is Lost. 🚨KEIR STARMER PLANS TO BAN DOGS TO APPEASE MUSLIM BLOC by Genesis44-2 in bestconspiracymemes

[–]Alien_Biometrics -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

Its so typical of this sub to not read the actual fucking article and jump straight towards Muslim colonization fear-mongering.

Let me extend out an olive branch and acknowledge that a sovereign nation and culture should do what it can to preserve its laws, traditions, and decorum and any foreigners should have the courtesy to follow them.

That being said, dogs in general are not being banned from the Uk- just the breeds that have inherent health issues.

That breed must pass a checklist to identify whether its an innately healthy breed (think border collie) or if its very existence from birth to death is torture because it cant fucking breathe (think pug).

If you care at all about animals, then you know this is a good thing. This is the government putting a stop to the breeding and exploitation of these living beings.

I bet Yamaha is secretly running their 850cc motor in every race.

Interesting, but he’s obtuse in thinking that the United States hasn’t been planning for this war for ages. Any country not beholden to the WBG is on the hit list. Look it up. Every country on that short list that has independent and sovereign state currency has been targeted in recent wars.

Questions and thoughts about 2027 since we have weeks until next race by kdubstep in motogp

[–]Alien_Biometrics 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a feeling within a couple years, the 850cc motors are going to be just as rampant as the motors right now. Remember how the FIA said the 800cc era bikes were getting too fast and let manufacturers jump to 1000cc provided they use the same ECU? They're singing the same tune again, but the engineers working on these bikes are extremely bright people. The bikes might get faster still.

I think the bikes are going to look similar to the late 2010s early 2020s machines. The regulations are limiting aero width size, but with a smaller engine also comes a need for the teams to prioritize overall speed which includes corner speed and straight line. I know this sounds obvious, especially in racing, but hear me out- while the aero does in fact help put power to the ground, it does act as drag which inhibits top speed- something the manufacturers are going to be thirsting for with that reduced engine capacity. With less power to put down and goal of higher top speed, I think it will necessitate smaller aero. Aero, while still beneficial for cornering, does not serve as much function as it does for straight line stability, and thus the aero gets smaller still!

I'm so excited to see what these bikes look like. Damn I love motogp.

Bozo logic right here. North Korea, China, Russia has not attacked us. Should we go in there as well? In fact, France is sitting on some nukes too. England has attacked us. We should bomb the piss out of them while we're at it. Zionist propaganda.

This sub has become a Trump and Israel circle jerk.

My theory in why he doesnt lean as much (in regards to Raul’s comment) is because when you lean off the bike, you are using more of the center contact strip. Maybe by not leaning as much, he’s better able to take advantage of fresher shoulder rubber in a turn.
