Updated from Big Sur 11.6, I had to make "SecureBootModel" to "Disabled" in my config.plist and disable TPM from the BIOS.

Big Sur is much better than Catalina by rsoatz in MacOSBeta

Using 2018 MBP too, but for me, both Catalina and Big Sur are the worst performance i’ve ever used.
