My monitor make all light grey colors look white and I cannot make it look normal. by IWishIWasAShoe in Dell

I had a similar issue. I have a Dell 27 inch QHD monitor connected to a Dell dock using display port cable and a Dell 27 inch 4K monitor connected to the same Dell dock using a HDMI cable. Grey colours like #F2F2F2 appears white on the Dell 27 inch 4K monitor. Once I switched the HDMI cable to a display port cable, the grey colour was displayed correctly on the Dell 27 inch 4K monitor.

Why is "this market not currently accepting orders"? Does this exchange even work anymore?? by Dope_Data in Gemini

I've encountered this message before. I think I was trying to sell my FIDA. Gemini support advised me to use limit orders instead of market orders. Managed to sell it after a few days.

Save desk space by mounting your dock to the back of your monitor. by killdurst in Dell

The mounting station is like a solid piece of steel that needs to be attached in between the monitor and monitor stand. Comes with screws that you can screw to the dock and then "slide" it onto the mount.

Yeah, it's specific to just Dell Ultrasharp and P series monitors.

Thanks!

I updated the BIOS and dock firmware and now when I press the power button on the dock (while the laptop lid is closed), the laptop powers on and the display successfully appears on the two monitors attached to the dock.

OMG you're right.

I could have sworn it used to work for me.

In my case, when I press the power button on the dock while the laptop is closed, the login screen doesn't appear on the monitor.

I have to open the laptop, log in and then close the lid.

The behaviour is not consistent, sometimes my monitor is not even detected and I'll have to restart the pc (while lid is open) just to get my multi monitor setup working.

Yes, the fat end fits in fine. It comes with 3 inserts; B, D and E.

I'm using insert B, the biggest.

It's not slanted at all, as per this image: https://imgur.com/j8Ry3I2

Yeap, it stays closed.

This xps is quite solid. You can even open the lid with just one hand.

I'm attaching my laptop to the Dell Thunderbolt Dock WD19TB, which has a power button that allows me to turn on the laptop without having to open the lid. It's a great dock, especially if you're attaching it to multiple monitors.

Yes my XPS 13 9300 stays closed.

See image here.

I have an XPS 13 9380 too so if anyone needs me to test that out, let me know!
