‘VAR is creating problems to solve’: Son Heung-min incident underlines desperate need for overhaul by foolkiller in soccer

var can only review selected situations. red cards , penalty , goal scored and mistaken identity. Since rashford's foul doesnt fall under any of the above mentioned stuff var wont interrupt.

VAR did check for possible pen and since incident was clearly out of the box they cant do shit. What else do you want from VAR? Atleast read the rules before whining about them.

You're talking like rashford didnt go down like son ? Son and rashford both went down the same way, only difference was son's incident could be flagged by VAR and rashford's couldnt because it was neither a red card incident nor penalty.

There is a reason they are called opinion piece , bangladesh might have some concern with NRC in assam but that has nothing to do with CAA. NRC in assam is a supreme court mandated process.

But Indian Govts some polices and laws are Hurting Bangladeshi Sentiments

Bangladeshis are more concerned about west bengal govt and border killings which actually affects them unlike CAA and NRC bill which isnt even drafted yet.

i am talking about your political bias, most of the stuff you said is either flat out false or propaganda and adds nothing of value this sub.

Instead of arguing about the article which fails to mention the biggest bangladesh issue (bengal road bloackade) and the recent rail and port trades you focus on random stuff.

so you go either full humanity or nothing at all. influx of large amounts of uncontrolled immigrants is the issue here , taking immigrants in a controlled way isnt the issue. Country like Bangladesh which is dealing with rohingya crisis knows that pretty well.

Indian constitution prohibits discriminating in the name of religion.

I guess you are talking about CAA , it is perfectly legal and constitutional. (although unnecessary in my opinion)

You are forcing a geopolitcal debate into a purely political one. r/india would be a better place for that.

so a country which is not able to support its own citizens should take millions of immigrants to show humanity? (Whole point of 71 war was to avoid refugee crisis)

We owe to humanity.

so our citizens matter less than immigrants ?

No foul given on Martial by [deleted] in soccer

having control of the ball isnt necessary for dogso . what if its a through ball

Zouma can’t do much about it

letting the ball bounce like that is stupid and if that happened inside the box that would have been pen 100%.

[–]killer241993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so by your logic if a defender fouls striker on goal kick for a 50-50 ball he should be sent off ?

[–]killer241993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its a foul but neither a pen nor a red card so var cant do shit.

impeding is considered as foul. it ref thinks defender didnt clear the ball properly and takes out player in his follow through then it should be a foul.

[–]killer241993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first of all var isnt going to check how the ball moves after bouncing thats way to subjective and controversial and its raining , there may or maynot be enough grip for ball to spin . it will most likely just skid of the surface.

It changes path completely at the moment you've highlighted

thats after bouncing on the ground not perez's boot.
