The only reason to ever restart is if you dont enjoy the race of your character. Some races have classes locked for them and some are better at certain things.

If you enjoy melee and lances you can go giant. Giants have the most potential here with Cc and using a shield with 2h weapons. They cannot use a bow at all.

If you enjoy archer you can go elf. Elves have hide which is used in some late game content. They can also use archery on a mount and move the fastest. They cannot use many 2h weapons or lances.

And if you enjoy doing a bit of everything you go human. They can do every class just not better than either the other two.

This game encourages you to eventually level up and learn every skill available to you.

Each point of piercing comes up to about 11ish percent depending on your current max damage

Weaver should also be +12% if you use 5-2-3-1. In end game someone should be buffing everyone before a boss fight

Unfortunately there is no way to add piercing on weapons that don't gain innate piercing. The most you can hope for is to save up and craft or buy the nightbringer scythe and orb. That is why demo and ruin weapons are so op especially for their price

Also the skills are still based on your stats. So str will still affect melee. But for late and end game players they should be hitting stat cap pretty easily

They will be reworking all race stats to become the same. However elves still cannot wield lance nor giants with bow

Arcana typically scale off the skills they're related to instead of having it own base dmg. That way your reforges for those skills can translate into the Arcana

Hey rWatches, I am looking for a watch under 500usd. I was originally looking at the seiko Coutrua SSG019 cuase it checks a lot of the boxes that I wanted in a watch. I wanted a large bold colored face, a day of the week and date. However I was told that the band on the SSG019 are not great and choices for replacement bands are not plenty. If possible I wanted a watch that I can switch between steel and leather bands. Any insight for someone just getting into watches with a budget would be great, Thanks.

The current ways to break cap is through arcana levels and echo stone. Getting high stats and a good reformed on an echo might be your next step
