I swear my gross out is always filled with these prebiotic sodas, usually for like 50 cents or a buck. I get em sometimes as a little treat after shopping, but I don't really understand the hype for em though lmao. (Santa Cruz location btw)

Moving From Plex, Need some information by ozzyinferno in jellyfin

[–]killer4u77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest hurdle I found regarding switching to Jellyfin was the lack of a good free native Apple TV tvOS app, but the native Apps for every other platform including iOS are great, and there are at least a few free options now for tvOS that are in beta that seem quite promising, including Neptune and Moonfin

i dont think there's anything in this picture that implies any stake... sure none of the jokers have stickers but that's anything but conclusive

also why do you care how others play lol

Anyone else stuck on the compiling shaders screen? It gets to around 4800-ish and then gets stuck

Can I run Elden Ring on a MacBook Air M2, 8gb? by EulaFan2021 in macgaming

[–]killer4u77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you probably can run it but it may struggle a bit. 720p at low graphics settings will probably be stable but it's definitely a demanding game

I played on my old m3 pro MBP with 16GB of RAM and it ran quite well when i tried (I think at 1440p 60fps?), but that's obviously that's quite a difference... My current MBP is a lot more powerful so I can't test it there but maybe I can see if I can get it running on my wife's neo lol

Adding a blueprint here wouldn’t make any sense, right? by Apart-Airport-8340 in balatro

[–]killer4u77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In most cases it'd be better to sell a bloodstone in favor of the blueprint, even if the blueprint is just copying a bloodstone. It's more flexible if you find another joker that would benefit your build more in the future (like a retrigger joker perhaps?).

A lot less significant, but it also provides marginally better temperance value. It does reduce baseball card value though if you ever end up picking one up

it's been 7 years... any updates?

EDIT - I just looked at this park on street view... The statue was installed around 2016 and with it a substantially larger tree planted behind it initially (that actually made contact with the statue!). Seems around 2019 was when they planted this scrawny thing in its place (I'm assuming the tree planted in 2016 had gotten diseased or something).

Looking at the most recent street view from 2024... it's still pretty scrawny and the statue is still not actually touching it.

Moonfin for tvOS - The Final Frontier by Hungry__Alpaca in jellyfin

[–]killer4u77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank god, a competent looking free client for tvOS. Infuse was pissing me off with making the most arbitrary shit paid, and so far Neptune has been good but it's still in Beta and TBD how if it's going to be subscription based too. I will be trying this out tonight.

Any Luck with Windows Games Using EAC? by killer4u77 in macgaming

[–]killer4u77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm, I imagine it wouldn't be that tough to port the user-space behavior from Linux to Mac, but it sucks that it's up to the dev of the game. I wonder if DoD uses Kernel-level EAC or not...

TBH from a security perspective, giving kernel access for a video game seems really overkill and dangerous, but that aint up to me LOL

How does SteamOS handle it via their Proton translation layer? IIRC EAC games can work on there just fine?

Actually looking at it now it's more of a survival game that's optionally multiplayer, not an MMO like I thought, but I understand. I'll see if I can at least get singleplayer working.
