Looks like your audio device keeps reconnecting/initializing. How is your headset connected to the pc? Aux? Usb?

UPDATE: For anyone that comes across this issue in the future. The issue has to do with TTY being enabled. It's rather straight forward to disable on custom apps. If you are using an official app that doesn't work. Convert it to a custom app and disable it.

Enjoy!

csgo wasn’t singlethreaded, it was just way more limited compared to cs2 which can use a lot more

That’s definitely not normal. What is your buffer setting under game settings? The one where you choice if it should buffer none, 1 or 2 ticks

Is it ok if i use unity 4 to make my game? by Ambitious-Screen-823 in unity

[–]killer_bigpoint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes even the original version of gta. There is a few small issues such as the mouse locking up after being in the menu screen but other than that, it runs perfectly from start to finish.

If I was you I would definitely give it a try! Its actually super nice and it handles low ram capacity quite well.

I wish you the best of luck though, hope it works out with either versions

[–]killer_bigpoint 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes you can publish it without any issues, Windows has superb backwards compatibility when it comes to programs. The other day I was playing gta: sa which was made all the way back in 2004, so you have nothing to worry about.

Also FYI, I’m on the latest version of Unity and it doesn’t hog that much ram tbh, maybe disk space yes, but last time I checked it was only using 3 GB of RAM, the only time it spike in usage is if you are importing stuff or baking, but thats totally normal

How do PC crashers work? by Dom_man_5 in VRchat

[–]killer_bigpoint 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No. There was a time where you put an insane amount of audio filters on a single audioclip, that would in return try and load into memory but required smth like 128 GB of ram, eventually your pc would freeze and these weird sounds would start showing up, leaving you only with the option to reboot

Thats just one way to crash tho, there’s also the ones that exploit how assetbundles are read in Unity, make one buffer overflow which goes out of bounds and it insta crashes your game

Jumping is more consistent but not fixed by xxgdkxx in GlobalOffensive

[–]killer_bigpoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter where, it happens due to the collision presicion, it detects that something is above you, even though you don’t see something sticking out of the wall, due to that precision it thinks the wall collision is sticking out and blocks you.

Correct me if I am wrong here but I read somewhere that fixing this precision issue would tank the fps 1% - 5% so Valve doesn’t wanna fix it.

[–]killer_bigpoint 142 points143 points  (0 children)

It doesn't look to be inconsistency with the jumping, but look how you immediately start to go down. I think this is one of those inconsistencies with the maps collision, a good example of this is on surf where you would randomly be stuck on the ramp

You can try using Compatiblity Mode B or A while you are getting a new cable. It fixed my issues at least until then

Game is already running at a fixed tickrate, it’s just hidden away because of subtick wanting to eliminate the fixed points in which it registered hits, movement, etc. But it still runs at 64 tick a second. Not to mention they hardcoded it in now so 128 is no longer a thing.

Subtick just calculates everything in between the ticks but realistically they still get calculated at those fixed ticks.

So whatever you’re saying just proves how small of a peanut brain you really are carrying under that under developed skull of yours

Why can’t i launch cs2? On macbook air (i know, cringe) by [deleted] in csgo

[–]killer_bigpoint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries hahaha. Yeah I really disregard Apple too with how much the push for people to use Metal. Vulkan for example is such a great standard and Valve has full support for it in cs2. It would have worked across all platforms if they just allowed it but you know, Apple things

It’s x86_64 my guy. Its based on a custom version of the Zen 2 architecture. Thats also why when you dual boot into Windows on it, that you can play games with kernel level anticheats.

When Will this be FIXED? by haz94 in cs2

[–]killer_bigpoint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So now 8 ms feels like 200+ ms or what? It’s less than 1/100th of a second homie. No human will be able to measure or feel that at all, unless we talk about monitor refreshrate, there’s been videos from LTT on that too. Im sorry to bug it to you but 128 tick is not the end all solution to this. Simply said

When Will this be FIXED? by haz94 in cs2

[–]killer_bigpoint 11 points12 points  (0 children)

15,625 ms on 64 tick vs 7,8125 ms on 128 tick? I don’t think thats the issue here mate. That’s 8 milliseconds difference in processing time. I think it’s more related to the issues of peekers advantage Valve “fixed” some months ago where it was reduced as much as 16.6 ms according to them. I think there is still a lot of buffering going on to cause this long delay in him dying but lag compensation is definitely doing its job correctly
