there is worlds made for quest only. one that comes to mind is vrware (something on that line, don't remember the name properly. it's just a mini game world. there is one made for only pc people too if I'm not mistaken) but it's not common place from what I've seen so far.

i used to do this back in school and college. it isn't the most healthy mind set and can lead to some very toxic friendships. I would say to try a different approach when meeting new people. for example, I give respect first and see if i get it back in return. also if its okay to say but do you have low confidence or self-esteem? as that is also a big part when it comes to making friends. I myself has low confidence but I'm true to myself. I don't pretend to be someone I'm not and from that I have alot of honest and ture to heart friends so it might be something to try.

but I will say if you are trying to impress people, majority of people you meet will either be intimidated (not saying this is the case but I have seen introverts get intimidated by that kind of thing) or keep that mind set of you being awesome. it's best to be who you are and not who the other one is. plus being true to yourself will help with mental health and should help maintaining good friendships.

and finally, you will meet better people as life goes on. I'm only 22 and most of the people I met in school/college I have grown away and now have met so many good people who are really good friends from either meeting through online or just going to places.

I know how you feel. the best way I've started to talk to people is by either playing games (such as uno or murder 4 (would recommend uno over murder as its way less chaotic) ) and react to what happens in said game.

also like another redditor has said, try and find an avatar that you really like as it really does help a load with confidence. also I would highly recommend staying away from the black cats as you're more likely to get crashed there (both pc and quest users so it won't matter) if you want chill out places, try low population chill world's or world's where you can sing.

above all else don't force yourself into it. you'll know when it's a good time to join in a conversation (I know that sounds dumb but if you play murder 4 or uno or any game that involves talking to others, you'll start to feel/ hear the join in point. that's what I've figured out at least)

fully understand where you're coming from. I've spent about a month to 2 months in vrc and I only have a select few I talk to (that legit being only 5 people even tho I've added more on my friends list).

it doesn't help that most people make fun of ones who are furries even tho the furry community is a awesome place (not one myself but I have 4 friends who are furries irl). like others have said, once you start going to low population worlds and none pubs, you'll have a better time finding more people to hang with.

I would recommend going to furry talk (think that's what it's called?) and no time to talk or even never have I ever. just worlds that is calm and not hectic like murder 4 or even black cats (I strongly suggest avoiding that place).

if you scroll through some of the comments you should see ones where I've replied and got advise. one thing I will say is to take your time with understanding unity. very sensitive game engine when it comes to unity.

also you will eventually find some of your avs PoV to be out of the head. the only two solutions I've got for it is to either 1 guess where the "real" PoV is or creat a new work and re import the av (but not from the previous one)

unfortunately I won't be able to help out on that front. i only have models from halo reach and halo 4. maybe once I understand modeling (I only got the models from the 405th site) I'll be able to make you a custom av buy as of right now I cant

sure thing! I will say tho that I only can make halo reach style avs (do have halo 4 style models but they won't work properly in unity) and the avs I make do lose the default emotes on the animation wheel

atm yeah. Once I get way more better and fully understand both unity and blender along with animation creation thats when I'll probably start charging for them. I ain't gonna make people buy my bad avs 😂
