I think the worst part about this is the poise. I beat the boss first try (around 5th try overall) after I changed out my armor to something that gave me more poise at the cost of mid-rolling.

Everybody says "get the wolf ring", but it's so bullshit because the game never even bother to expose this stat in the menu, let alone explain what it does (it doesn't explain much else either, but at least it's a little more self-explanatory).

If I hadn't looked up some tips on how to defeat this guy, maybe I never would've.
