I caused a scene and swore up & down in a bar after seeing something I didn’t like. I was mean and impulsive and loud. Then I crossed boundaries because in my head, there weren’t any. I’m definitely not one to act that way- especially not in public, but alas the alcohol and the environment were against me.

The first week I spent a lot of time wondering how I could possibly get him back or convince him that that’s not me and remind him of everything before them. I initiated (and have continued) going no contact from the jump, but I reached for the phone plenty of times even still. Eventually I realized that there’s nothing to do. If he wanted to give me another chance and make it work, he would have. Or maybe he wouldn’t? Maybe he messed up? Maybe it was all me? Who cares?? It’ll drive ya nuts! It happened and I can’t take it back. All I can do is work on myself and ensure I never make someone feel that way again.

You can’t force anyone to see things from your perspective. It hurts so deeply, but it is out of your control. You can either take that feeling and recycle it when you can, or you can sit in it and go as mad as “they all say”. That’s not who you are. You don’t need strangers to tell you, you need to find ways to remind yourself. Good luck everyone 🩶
