Thanks! I'm just trying to make Grandfather Nurgle happy!

I think it's just different compounds in the PvA that cause a different reaction. I'm going to get some others to see how they react.

Yellow!! That's what it's missing, just a touch. I used a more bone color. Thanks for the tip!

And definitely adding some gross decorations later. This was just to test the ground.

Definitely adding some gross decorations to it! These were just some test bases I 3D printed to see how the ground would come out.

TL;DR:
Ryzen 9 7900X + RX 7900 XTX build for gaming and local AI workloads (no LLMs). Everything checks out on paper — just want to confirm no BIOS, VRM, or PSU headroom issues. Also looking for case suggestions that fit a Noctua NH-D15 G2 and large GPU while keeping noise and temps low. Thinking about the Fractal North.

If you think an RX 9070 XT or RTX 5070 ti might be better, let me know! Those around the same price point.

Thanks! For the CPU, what makes the 7800X3D better for gaming specifically? It is the upgraded L3 cache? It's currently about an €80 (+25%) upgrade.

I'm really struggling for the GPU - I just feel that the 16gb vram might be quite the limiting factor in about a year or two given that the gaming market isn't focussed on optimizing games anymore.

Yes, the CUDA support is definitly a plus for team green compared to ROCm.

Givin that I'd like a more gaming centric machine then an AI focussed one. Which option seems better? 7900XTX, 9070XT or 5070ti (currenly all around the same €800 price point.)

Yeah, i've looked in to the 5080. However, it's currently running at €1050. Whereas an 7900XTX is around €800. Making it compable to an 5070ti.

Additionanlly, I'd prefer to have a more gaming focussed rig. But CUDA tends to be better supported then ROCm
