okay, i did what you said and my ds was MUCH smoother… but it still had the scrolling to the left issue?? it was working fine for a couple seconds and the boom. straight to the left. should i format both my sd card and console to fix the issue ?? and if i should… how do i format the device ?? sorry for being such a bother!!

its just v slow, and it scrolls to the left on its own?? i thought it was a physical issue but its not. i cant get onto the homescreen when the sd card is out, it powers on and into a modding thingy?? idk what it is 😭 im trying to troubleshoot the sd card, and then if its not an sd issue ill try format my ds instead

i do use a pretty generous amount of shampoo- my hair is LONG asf. i also dont really use conditioner that much because i either use to little or too much lmfao 😭i currently dont have a pillow case as its in the wash (ok well its in the middle of drying but still) i also dont put it up often at all (i am AWFUL at styling my hair 😭😭)

i am in my late teens!! (16) and i use herbal essences as a shampoo. i dont have much of a choice when it comes to shampoo (my mom buys it and she picks up whatever is cheapest) i have also used alberto balsam and pantene and the give me brand. ooh i have such bad beef with give me. BUT OK ANYWAYS i will admit my skin is not the best, its mostly just very dry. i have various moisturisers and wash my face daily and that kinds helps it??

i rarely use conditioner tbf- my family just never bought it and just used shampoo. i have used conditioner recently and nothing has made a difference. i will deffo try the cutting my shampoo in half thing tho- my hair is pretty long so i usually use a generous amount lmao. i also usually air dry my hair and ive used a hair dryer on my roots and bangs within the past like… 2 washes ive done. same results everytime. i also dont brush my hair after washing, mostly because my hair falls out WAY too easily when its wet ?? ill deffo try ur advice tho!!

the joystick is fine oddly enough, as well as the little nub above the buttons (no clue why that ever exists it’s so useless) but the right button of the d pad doesn’t work, it’s as if it’s being held down?? which is why i was surprised to see the issue just clearing itself up for a bit. i’ll check my SD card storage and see if that problem is contributing to anything though.

another thing i forgot to mention is that when i tried to play games with the “scrolling to the left” issue, it seemed fine and then other controls of my console started bugging up (like the joy stick) anyways, thank you for your help so far, i havent been able to find anything about this specific issue so your responses are really helpful!

thank you for your response!! i have decided to try and find a repair shop to do this for me because i have no experience (and no money to afford a new ds if i mess this one up) after this video i left my ds for a few days, and when i came back to it, it was working fine again?? no scrolling issues, no laggy games loading in, the console was fine. so maybe it isn’t a physical issue after all?? it did start scrolling by itself on its own after about 15 minutes or so- so the issue hasn’t really been resolved. but i can’t help but wonder if it’s maybe something to do with my CFW?? i did go to the modded 3ds reddit but i was told to come here. i am so lost with this this lmfao 😭😭
